God damn it! Stupid job. I fucking hate it. BAH! This stupid server never works the way, I want it. This job reminds me badly why I turned my back on full time IT jobs. They suck ass!!! I should have asked for 3000 bucks for this job. FUCK!
You know... The firm started on... the 1st May. The server came on the 5th May and they expect me to make wonders in some days all alone. Like I'm not working around 12 hours a day on this server and firm beside collage. I have to do the whole program: Implementing a website, setting up a Windows 2008 server with DNS, DHCP, hosted Website, Active Directory and Exchange Server. >_<
The worst thing is that the server is a bitch. Like forgetting the whole DNS entries when installing the Active Directory forest. Do you know how many hours it took me to figure that out? Screw it. Screw the whole IT branche. I want it as easy as my coffee machine. Pressing a button, add some milk and sugar and I'm done. No bitching around. -

I know that this was an excercise and that we are fresh students, but for god's sake! I was not able to get at least one second of video material, because my friend was that fucking slow with the equipment?
Ok he needs to learn it, but it was frustrating to get no second out of 3 hours of work. I know that I can't do everything alone, but it's frustrating as hell that you can't rely on others that they do their stuff right. It's not just today. It happened again right now and I get sick of it.
Do your fucking job right, okay? That's all I'm asking.

Pushing the bar for it. I don't care if it makes sense or not, I don't care if I can't even test it by myself, because I don't have the friggin hardware to do so. All I want to do is pulling it off and see if it's possible.

I have a new record:
102 GB for one lossless video file. Pre processing needs one day of pure encoding for this project. It's not about if it makes sense to work on 1080p this time, it's about if it's possible with my hardware and how I can improve the workflow for such a work. It's an original bluray, but to be honest: Personaly I would scale it down to 720p due to the huge amount of noise.
Let's see how this will turn out in the end =)
