  • Storyboards? Ugh 2011-01-04 17:48:11 I hate to make storyboards. I'm just a bad drawer. I hardly can get the proportions right and the drawings like how I have the shots in my imagination. For me they are a weak reminder of how I want the shots to be. I can recall my shots quite well. I have about 100 shots for a 3 minute video. Hmmm... I think this will be too much, but I bet I can cut it down quite well and be still able to tell the storyline.

    Right now I'm working on my school project of a music video with orginal live action. I'm pretty much excited and I like my concept. It should be ready in May or late April.  
  • 2010 and 2011? 2011-01-01 16:20:30 Alright let's look back on 2010:

    Of course there were many lows. I can't remember any year where there were only joy. However I got some new perspectives that are promising and positive.

    I got a new regular 10h/week job in a cinema. Made some well payed jobs for a firm. This still goes on.

    I set my new goal to make [LGS] Lazy Generation Studios somehow commercial.

    I got my new awesome 7D photo/videocamera and made nice videos with it.

    AMV wise... I made only two vids and they got a WAY better reception that I thought. It would be great to see them in the VCA finals =P. At least "Ghost Runner" in Best Trailer could be a good tipp.


    2011 you say?

    Ugh... 2011. Those numbers look so ugly!

    I look forward to a new relationship. Hmm... it looks promising right now.

    I look forward to create my first real self made live action music video in the next months.

    I look forward to make more original live action videos with my cam.

    I have great new AMV ideas, but to be honest: I don't think that I will spend a lot of time on AMVs this year. I just have to invest my time in original live action, you know?     Anyway... I celebrate 10 years of AMV creation this year. There is a video planned that would celebrate this. This video will be a blast! At least for me =P

    I recommend the 1080p YouTube stream. Even if your display isn't 1080p. Vimeo's encoder is nice, but it doesn't please me for this video.
