A story about... "Well fuck you! Suckers!" - My broken harddrive

Did I already made a journal entry about my broken harddrive? Nah... I don't think so. Here it comes!
My harddrive broke at a LAN party. That was back at the beginning of November 2010. It just stopped spinning. It was DEAD. More than dead! There is always a geek squad at a lan party that could fix your harddrive. So I gave it to them to fix it up. Nothing. It just didn't spin anymore.
Oh great! There goes some projects and my movie collection. Thank you LaCie!
I consulted the internet for possible sollutions. The internet... man there was a lot of shit around! I tried to solutions, knowing that they are crap.
#1 Do discuss throwing like movements with your harddrive.
#2 Hitting it hard
... to get the header free. I did that and hay I got the header free! ... into an headcrash. Awesome.
Still there is 3 years warranty on the disc. I sent it to LaCie. 14 bucks for shipping...
Good job on sending me a new disc! They didn't notice me foolish attempts to fix it myself. So I got a DAMAGED disc in return. It worked. Somehow, but it was clearly damaged and close to death.
I had a nice rant with the support and said that I won't pay another 14 bucks because they failed. So I didn't payed for shipping this time.
3 weeks later... WHERE IS MY FUCKING DISC?!!!! 3 months without my working/scratch disc?
