Oh today my Macbook almost killed itself

With overheating. Going into standby with crashed bluetooth (that I can't shut down) and with a long printer queque makes my Macbook overheat itself to death in standbye-mode.

I hate this overrated piece of shit. It's as shitty as any other OS. No... probably worse. My Windows 7 laptop only crashed when I removed a PCI-express card with e-SATA and an external e-SATA drive in standbye. That's fully understandable. How would you react if someone rips off one of your limbs or organs while you sleep?

Today on set I experienced why it's great to have interchangeable lenses for your HDSLR. It's so awesome.
"Damn... I need a wider angle to make this shot as I imagine it. Oh wait... Hellooooo 17mm F2.8 lense! Glad to have you here ^_^"
The project goes on very well. I have to make some compromises in editing, but that was predictable. -
Sigma 50mm F1.4 and Infected Mushrooms

Yesterday was my first big shooting day for my project and I had the chance to borrow a 50mm 1.4F lense. This lense was pure gold for my video recordings. The raw videos look great and it will look even better with color grading on it : D

Driving home on the highway with the Infected Mushrooms on my radio is like real life Audiosurf. WooooOOOOOOOoooo.... O_o
I crown Infected Mushrooms as the Best Electronics Band That I know. They always remind me why I love electronic music so much. -

It's time to settle this once and for all. What is better? Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro?
I have to write a scientific essay for my digital film course and well I think you can figure out what I took as issue. It will be approximately 35 pages of comparing. Actually I don't know how relevant this will be for a decision on what to pick for AMVs, but it's still interesting. Are all those Pro-FCP guys just some old dinosaurs who refuse to change?
Too bad that there are rumors that some weeks ago there was a presentation of the new FCP 8 to a special industry audience. It could be released in the middle of my studies =/
