JOURNAL: Bauzi (Bernd Schäffer)

  • Mr. Happy Face - Prerelease 2011-05-03 02:19:09 My original live action music video is finally available for public viewing:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U80jU7Wy-5k

It's some sort of prerelease. First I need to upload it on vimeo too etc. for a full announcement, but I wanted to inform you that you can already watch it.

I hope you guys will enjoy it and that you will let me know what you think about it. =)
  • 2011-05-01 17:02:35 It's kinda interesting. My live action music video project brought me so much constant work that I should be a total wrack by now. I'm happy that my body reacts in a surprising way to all this stress:

I'm totally relaxed. It's like my whole body takes a day of. It's like "just doing and not really caring about what you do". This feels so good and is like nirvana to me. It's amazing how many energy that I can get back with simple 30 minutes of resting. I wonder if this whole state is just a matter of the way I think about this situation.

Well anyway! This state holds on since a week and a couple of more days. The project is over (beside releasing it on the internet and receiving feedback of my tutors) and this still goes on.

I can only hope that this state will be my reaction on any stressful weeks that will come...

    NEXT UP:
The next music video project will be shoot this Friday (6th May 2011) and will be edited on another day. The musical artist wants to send this vid to a contest or festival so I'm not sure when we can make this video public on the net.
  • 2011-05-01 15:29:19 There are times where I feel like:
"Hey guys, just shoot me. It can't get any better. I'm on the cenit of my life and it can only get worse from here."

Today was such a day xD

I'm done with project "Mr. Happy Face" and will release it in the next days on YouTube and Vimeo. It's my first original live action music video, so you better check it out! I think it turned out great. There could be some better execution, but I think I did really well for doing almost everything alone from planing, shooting and editing.

"Don't worry! I will fix that in post!"
