From LAN parties to finals, the world has made me into a zombie....or vampire. It seems I am going to sleep around 2 pm and waking up at night *_*
So, this is like my afternoon. I have been watching amv's typing papers, and munching strawberries intermittently for hours. -_-' I am relying on spell check for my papers so if I mispell something it's cause I have developed a Pavlovian response to typing tonight.
Oh, for the weekend I saw Ice Age.
Let's say......It's better than I expected, but not as good as I had hoped.
And...the creationists are trying to take over Ohio....I need to pack my bags and get out of Appalacia! :p -

Ok, not exactly. But Tech tv mentioned they were going to start charging for their web pages, which as you know, used to be owned by a company called Geocities.
They are really srtict with band width and shut your site down monthly if it exceeds that...and frankly I can't complain since they had a free service for so long. But as long as there are FREE web site hosts, I will move to them.
So, I am moving to angelfire for now. Since I am lazy when it comes to my web page, this actually is good since I will update it for the first time in ages. New look, lots of new content too.
And I am so proud of my new banner. I love Adobe Photoshop! ...so why do I hate premiere ^.^?? -
Kenshin OAV, new kenshin story, new footage, new AMV. I also know the sad secret at the end of the OAV episode 2...spoilers, can't live with 'em can't live without 'em.

I wrote a lengthy new submission for my Kenshin music video and I thought I'd generate some interest by making a journal entry! I am pretty excited about it since it's to footage that almost *no* AMV's have used yet. It gives me a unique chance I think. No other Kenshin Seisouen videos to form my video. Well, please don't let length scare you and if you like it, please let me know!
This AMV is comprised of the Seisouhen OAV, episode 1, ONLY.
But since most of the episode is flash backs, there won't be too many spoliers in this.
In my opinion there is not much to be spoiled about, since most of the good (or bad stuff) will happen in episode 2, released in 2 weeks *WOOHOO*!!!!!
As for the music video......hm. It was basically two long nights of work, but I love editing so I am not complaining :) I think it's really good, better than my slayers amv. Slow, dramatic songs have a weakness in their pace. It's hard to go slow enough to satisfy the rhythm without boring the viewer. This video handles that pretty well and has appropriate scene changes in all but one spot. I'll let you pick it out :p
Size, yes it it big. At 61 MB, you'd expect better quality. That can be found on my 244 MB version :) It's the best I could do, shrinking enough to be web available and yet keeping it *mostly* free of floating pixels. Getting this brand spankin new episode is hard enough, finding an AMV contest quality file is irrational right now. When the DVD comes out from ADV, I will most certainly buy it and show them I approve of their non-Watsuki written OAV. Then, I will make a better looking version for it's file size. I went through various codecs, file types, and sizes as it was making this one.
This is mostly a Kaoru character profile, but it is romance as well. Those non doujinshi K+K fans will love one part of this video ^_^
And I will say, yes, Kenshin is in water at the end of the video, no, he doesn't drown. So please, don't say I ruined it for you...much more happens in episode 2, very sad, very sad indeed. -

I don't know if it's just my connection (road runner can be a b@#*&) or if there is just amv.org problems, but I see that videos can't be downloaded. I'll wait until tomorrow to make it available. Here is some info though.
I'll have up a new Kenshin OAV music video. Since most people have not seen the first episode to the brand spankin new OAV it may be interesting to watch just for the new footage.
The episode is a lot of flash backs into the tv series, but it's animated in the OAV style. I actually love the way it looks, they show a bit of the shishio battle animated in this style, and it looks great too. I won't have many spoilers in it, but it's a sad slow song and it'll have to be in widescreen format....so sorry if that kind of thing turns anyone off...
