I got a new baby guinea pig. ^_^
It was about time, you see since I lost the Sneak I have been looking for ihs possible 'reincarnation' if you will. I was trying to find a piggy that looked and acted like him.
Well, since reincarnation isn't real (well aside from thermodynamics) that wasn't going to happen but I found somepiggy close.
He looks like the Sneak did but without the defects. I found those cute but I got as close as I could because personality meant more to me than looks. This new guy is sweet and likes to wheek a lot. He is very purry and it's only his 3rd day with me. He is about 3 weeks old. I named him Hazel. Not very manly, but I don't think he'll notice ^_~
I pretty much guess this will be me,,,raising animal babies instead of kids, but somehow that seems to fit me better. They're so much cuter, quiet, and require so much less maintenance.

I don't think I am the only one who enjoys reading the mod quotes :p I look at locked threads, the the last page, just to see what the mod may have written when they lock the threads. I'm a little disapointed when they don't...so much so, I made this entry just for that. ^.^ I could use a laugh right about now.
why? well today at work I pulled a pallet that weighed 1500 lbs! Actually, more than one, 3 and one 1100 lb. They were frozen hams. Usually it's pears or christmas trees. My team lead asked me and the 45 year old I was working with if we would like him to do it. He had a Bobcat PowerJack. Those things can pick up 2 cars at a time. I told him we wanted bragging rights. ^_^ So we pulled a bunch out of the truck onto the dock, though he got the last one. -

All that pink. That's kinda funny. In Fushigi Yuugi,the four gods each have a color associated with them. Miaka, the main character is the priestess of Suzaku (a pheonix) and they use red (or pink :p ) light to transport the girls back from that world to this one. So pink seemed more appropriate than my usual white or black crossfades. At the beginning you see Miaka get enveloped by a green light because they are using Genbu's (a turtle/snake god) power to transport.
But I am glad you liked it.
A_^ Very glad. Now to find a decent connection speed to upload the thing....since it won, I won't be sending it to Ohayocon liked I'd planned. I don't want it to compete in any other contests. So, the org is it's last stop. :) -

I'll write a full con report later but right now I'll say this...I actually wn a first place!!!! My Fushigi Yuugi amv place first in drama..oh that was a cool feeling. Ironically, I was busy speaking to Laura (Hoffman) Smith, an amv creator who I remembered from 1999 who happened to be the coodinator and I had no clue that she was there, or still into anime. She made the Dance the Night Away Orange Road video I like back from 1999. I honestly thought the X TV drama vid was going to win and did not expect it....
*^_^* but hey, no complaints from me.
The 'dimension of anime' video won comedy and the 'Prayer' Animatrix video won Action. -

boy this place seems boring. I look over the threads and I don't feel interested in anything...maybe it's just me.
Hopefully the gfx contest will rouse up some um...intellectual activity?
