    I wonder how many people are old enough to "get" that journal title...

    I just got my new computer put together. Really it was just an Athlon Duron 1.0 Ghz and motherboard off ebay. Better than the 750 I was using before. But...it has built in video ...need to get a PCI adapter so I can get a 3d accelerator in there. At least it likes my DC 10 + fine.

    Coupled with a 100 GB HD at my disposal *_* this is going to be fun

  • College town furries? 2002-03-27 12:01:07 I live in a town called Athens. About 40% of the population is college students, not really children.

    So, imagine my suprise when the easter bunny (6 feet tall and all) casually walks down the sidewalks uptown athens ^.- ??? No kids, no basket or eggs, he acted like he was going out for coffee.

    Now usually around here people do crazy things but they have video cameras following them as it's a stunt. There was no one around him, except for the people like me who stopped and took a double take. But then again I remember one person dragged a vcr around like a dog on a leash in front of a tour of parents of "potential" students ...er..maybe not anymore....and there was last year with the women protesting nudity laws my walking around shirtless...so I guess in the scheme of things, I should just not be suprised what goings on occur in broad daylight anymore.

     
  • ???? 2002-03-23 03:12:22 It seems War FTP is being a pain. For some reason it's picky with who it lets download my files. The result is lately I have had several new link problems. I check them, they are fine and I can download them from other comps in my apartment. Why are some people having problems? I changed some settings..they work...for now I guess.

    In the meantime I made a banner but the new contest doesn't start until the new site design comes out.

    I think I should wait until the psd file is available since the jpeg of the logo looks pixel happy and does not match the rest.

    Ahhhh! Spring break only lasts 2 more days....I didn't go anywhere warm (I stayed some place cool, Ohio *ba dum dum*) and I don't mind but no more vacations for how long?...oh god I graduate college in June...I have to get a real job then.

    *realizes this was probably the last lazy vacation until she retires and faints*
