Today basically... sucked. Soon I will rip the second volume of Evangelion so I can start working on the second half of my vid sometime this week. Cool. So far, people seem to think it's pretty good. No one's hated it yet. There's always the occasional person who can't seem to understand the simple story behind it... and by occasional person, I mean 2 people. =
Been doing some form of work for two hours. Suckage. But at least I will be going to Otakon. And will probably only have to spend around $150 for four days. That's definitely cool. TMNT rocked. I won't be able to see them much though. Oh well. Maybe I can get someone to record it for me.
And since my day sucked, it's only fair that everyone who reads this should also have a sucky day. And so I shall make your day sucky by giving you this bit of poetic rambling...

Misty's right. This is pretty ridiculous. Forget petty spite and stupid arguments that will come to no conclusion at all. These men and women, a loyal crew for the US and one of the few I have admiration for, died doing their duty for the country. And all this crap shows up. These feuds are so pointless, it's mind boggling.
You can continue this stupid war if you want, but don't desecrate a thread used for tribute and to honor the lives of these people who died with Columbia. Yeah, it's a little late, but try and think about something other than your own views and bashing someone else's. -
Christmas, New Year, birthday...

Yeah so my birthday was yesterday. I'm 18, whee... blah.
Got some cool stuff. But my relatives and family are very not creative. They either give me clothes or money because they take no interest in my interests. At least my dad just took me out shopping and told me to pick out gifts that I'd like. Funny stuff. And he told me yesterday he was going to give me $250 for birthday and Christmas even after he bought all the gifts I wanted. Not many gifts, but that's not the point. That's going right into the Otakon bank. After I buy some CDs =p.
Only 2 people wished me happy birthday. =*(
Being 18 isn't any different from being 17. But now I can legally do things that I would've done by now if I had even wanted to in the first place.
Life still sucks. I'm at my dad's, coming home tomorrow. Going to rip some Eva DVD clips so I can replace the crappy ones in my video. That'll be fun I'm sure. But I have my Creative Writing final short story due Tuesday. Haven't started, but I'll finish in time. My teacher gave us the assignment two days before break and said it was due two days after the break. What a jerk =.
Saw a bunch of movies, and I've decided that my Top Ten Movie list in the forums is basically moot since I've changed my mind so much. Catch Me If You Can is a great movie, people. Great movie. Not in my top ten, but still a great movie. I went to see that today.
But most importantly, I got this really cool rotating fiber optics lamp that changes color. It rocks.
Now... time to go back to sucky boringness. -

I love making videos. This is great. And once I get good footage, all these minor problems with technicalities will be gone! Woot! And with people helping me, I can make this a lot easier. Thanks to those who've helped! At some points after I exported my first 1:14 of the video, I noticed the screen shook. That bugged me, but now I know it was because I was slowing down the clips. The solution? ... Frame hold. Woot! I've fine tuned a lot of what I have and now I have few problems with that first section that builds up to the first climax. And the rest (in my head) looks really good. And it's a great song, I just hope I don't get sick of it = . The other problems were a lot of jump cuts. I've fixed all of those at the cost of a few more cross fades which I should cut down on. But I'm keeping those in until I find another solution.
This almost makes up for not seeing The Two Towers today. Almost.
