I have about 20 days before the Nekocon deadline, and only :57 of "Shinkakuruu" is done. All but 6 of those days are school days too. I'm going to really be pushing it, trying to get "Shinkakuruu" done in time. I think I can do it, but it's going to be hard considering all the other stuff that I HAVE to do, such as school work and all. If I carry my comp every day, and edit on my breaks, and then edit late into the nights I should be able to finish. I will have to set aside sometime for studying though somewhere....
These are going to be a stressfull 24 days....

Well, I skipped my first class today... Not my first class of the day, I skipped a class for the first time today. I had such a good time in japanese that I couldn't bear to ruin my day by going to an hour long, boring ass, ancient art class. So instead, I went and dropped off my java program at Sherry's office, where she appeared to be writing Synapse or something(reference to Anit-Trust..^_^;), and caught the next bus out of Chapel Hill. Whatever ii was she was writing, she was really into it, and had about 6 windows full of code open, typing non-stop. I wonder if that's what I'm going to be doing when I'm a Comp. Sci. grad student, if I'm a comp. sci. grad student...^_^'
I probably wouldn't have skipped Art 33, but the professor put all the notes up on the website, so hell, I'll probably never go again...^_^. Why should I go listen to him read the notes in a voice more monotone then Ben Stein for an hour, when I can just dl the notes and skim them myself in about 10 minutes. Sadly though, I must go being that Art 33 is the only class I have that I have to sign in for. The professor will let us re-take the tests one time each, if we want. If he sees that we were out for like 2 weeks, then failed a test he won't let us re-take it. That's the whole reason behind the sign in sheet....
At least I made it to the third week of classes before I skipped. That has to be some kind of record or something....
Since I've earned an extra hour by skipping class, perhaps I will find the time to "fix" that opening for "Shinkakuruu" to my liking.....

What, still no CD. I was sure it would be here today. I'm so depressed...:( Hopefully it will be here tomorrow, because I'm going out of town for 4 days tomorrow night.....plz, I'm begging you, come before I leave. I don't want to spend the trip wondering if my CD is safe sitting in the mailbox....

The opening of what most likely will offically become F(t)tR over the next few days. Even if it doesn't, you can still see what I did to your Illusion. There's a lot of things I have to fix that I noticed when I dl'ed the file to make sure it works. A couple of jagged clip edges in the beginning, an extra frame in the last clip, and also the timing on the last cut is a bit off. Need to better time the color strobes, and do something with the title too. I don't like it the way it is now. Anyways, it's a VERY rough copy, at only 1.4 Mb, but give it a look....

I'm glad Premiere just crashed. I was only finished with the intro to "Skinkakuruu". Luckily, I had just saved before the crash. My comp doesn't handle quicktime effects, or radial blurs too good. It has a tendency to crash premiere when I try to use them. Since I knew this and was applying a zooming, radial blur on the final clip, I saved before doing it. For some reason, I can put quicktime FX and radial blurs on the clips just fine. Once I start adding keyframes, it starts having problems. Just now, I was rendering a preview of the clip, and it rendered up to the very last frame, and froze up. Oh well, at least I didn't lose anything. Once I get home, I'll try to add the blur again, then I will be finished with the intro. Next up is the fun part. The song picks up, and becomes very... "edittable"...^_^. I will finally get the chance to push "Tapestry Allusion" to it's limits, and see just how much I can do with it. I used it in the intro, but due to the slow, smoothness of the song, all it does is fade in and out on occasion. I'm going to really get to have fun with it once the song starts. I can't wait until chorus after the solo. That is where my allusion to Omni's Illusion is going to really shine............^_^
I do believe this is going to be my F(t)tR vid now. It's not using a DDR song like I originally planned, but it's using a good dance song........
I need to head out to Japanese now. Today is Yamaguchi sensai's day teaching class. I love Tuesdays and Thursdays.....^_^. My two favorite days of the week now. Specifically, I love 12:55 - 1:45 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays though. Not entire day....^_^

You know, when I mentioned sleeping through Art 33, I was only joking. I actually DID sleep through it though. I went in, signed the role, and he started explaining the palette of Narmer, or whoever the king was the Catfish and Chisel glyph symbol. Anyways, next thing I know, I'm waking up, and everyone is leaving. I slept a good 45 minutes....^_^

No preview of Shinkakuruu yet. I have done about the first 20 secs. Not bad for about 3 hrs of work, during school, and actually at work. I hope to finish the intro completely by tomorrow night, then I will put it up, and show off the modified version of "Tapestry Illusion" that I have so rightfully dubbed "Tapestry Allusion"...
I was invited to join the Japan Club today. They are having a party tomorrow night for all the new members. Hopefully I will get to go, but things are looking a little slim right now... :(
