So many reviews, so little time. Let's see, I need to review Omni's, Silver_Moon's, Sierra's, MJ's and Devo's latest videos. I'm sure I left a few in there too. Anyways, I have seen all of the videos. You Chobits vid was rather cool, but I'm sure that doesn't mean much coming from does it Omni. I don't think I've ever said one of your videos wasn't cool. I don't know what to say about "Service with a Smile". How could the same guy that made PFS make Service? It just throws me off trying to think about it. I hope to get some reviews up soon, but I'm in a bit of a rush trying to get Shinkakuruu done for Nekocon. I have "Onyou no Yume" encoded in mpg, DivX, and XviD ready to go just in case I don't meet the deadline. I just burn them all to a disc, and mail them out. Hopefully though, I will get Shinkakuruu done....
I just finished writing my java Random Walk Generator. I don't get how my professor could make such a simple program sound so complicated. He was giving us all these warnings in class not to panic, and he had set up extra lab/office hours to help us, becuase this program was "a lot more complicated" than our last two. I sat down and wrote the program straight through without the first mistake. Granted, I've had two programming classes before, and this class I'm in now is for someone who hasn't had ANY programming experience, but still, he just made it sound nearly impossible. Why then am I taking this class you ask if it is for someone with no experience? I have to. It's a required class for the comp. sci. major. Even though I probably could have went into the Advanced programming class, I have to take ALL of them starting from the beginning....
Let's see, sleep tonight, work tomorrow, come home and learn final 8 katakana, work on Shinkakuruu. I have a pretty full schedule for tomorrow.....
One final note, the first volume of the Love Hina manga has been awesome so far. I read about half of it at work today. There were quite of few times that I laughed out loud, and many more times that I laughed to myself. I haven't seen the anime, but if it's anywhere near as good as the manga, I have to see it............

Yay me.....

Yay, everyone cheer for me. I got the first volume of the Love Hina manga tonight before work. Haven't had a chance to look through it yet, I actually had to work during work tonight. All those inconsiterate customers wanting to buy stuff. I was going to get GTO too, but they only had the second volume, and they only had the second of Real Bout Highschool, and everyone but the first volume of Inu Yasha. I was limited in my decision, so I went with Love Hina over the Eva manga. I don't just see Eva being as good not in video format...
Other than that, no news. Between being in school all day avioding my "stalker"(it's a long story..-_-), and work all night I haven't had anytime to work on "Shinkakuruu" or F(t)tR: Evolution, which ever title you perfer. The official title is "Shinkakuruu" but it's the Evolution phase of my F(t)tR project. Sounds complicated doesn't it. You would think the Evolution would be like a final vid in a series, but its not. By doing this vid, hopefully I will "evolve" to the next level of AMV creatorness, and be able to make F(t)tR: NT(or overload if you want the english translation) truly worthy. See, it's not so hard to understand....^_^'

Come on now, there's no need to be scared. I'm not going to screw them up that much....^_^.
I'm not scared, I'm anxious. It's wierd to be anxious about your own video. I can't wait to see the full "Shinkakuruu", to see just how much it differs from the idea in my head. Hopefully it will not, but every vid I've made always comes out different. Everything works so perfect in theory, but once I start to lay footage I end up improvising half the video......
I want to make a vid that will send shivers down viewers' spines. I was just watching Duane Johnson's Ranma/U2-"Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" vid. I've watched this vid alot. Yet, no matter how many times I watch it, the second verse, namely the "... burn like fire" lyric right around 1:40 always sends shivers down my spine. I don't know how many vids he has, but I've only seen about 5 of them, and this particular Ranma vid is the best of them all. It is definatly a worthy AMV, sitting alongside "Believe", "Engel"(Caldwell), "Crossroads"(Aluminum), and "Liquid Petals"(MJ) in my All-time Favorite AMVs folder. What? How did MJ sneak in vid into that folder....oh well...
Don't worry Omni, your vids arn't in that folder, becuase I have a separte FtR folder where I put your stuff, even if it isn't part of FtR...

I managed to "fix" the opening, and add the next 14 secs to "Shinkakuruu" so far today. I think it's really coming out good. Not going to put up another preview though. Those who saw the other have a slight idea of what is going on, but now that I've "fixed" it to my liking, it's much better. I also found a way to better work the color strobes so they are not so out of place. I hope I can get it done before the Nekocon deadline....

As for the status of F(t)tR, this vid is F(t)tR: Evolution. I believe I mentioned before that originally F(t)tR was going to be a 2 vid series, one Shamanic Princess, and one multiple anime vid. Then I decided just to do the one multiple anime vid, which is what "Shinkakuruu" started out as, but has know "evolved" into a Shamanic Princess vid. The other F(t)tR will use a DDR song, which is better fitting than the jpop song "Shinkakuruu" is using anyway. The other will be F(t)tR: NT. The NT stands for nimotsu o tsumisugiru which should be japanese for "overload". I bet you all must hate me now that I've started japanese classes. Give me about 2 more semesters, and I'll probably be writing the whole entries in japanese...^_^'

Anyways, one final note. I negelected to mention yesterday that my "I am..." CD final arrived. I must say, it is better than I ever could have expected. It's good to the point that my brain is trying to trick me into thinking that Ayumi Hamasaki is my new favorite jpop singer, when I know deep down that hitomi always has, and always will be my favorite. Damn these betraying thoughts.........^_^
