Project Rip-Off (3)
2002-04-06 18:50:28
Now for an update on Project Rip-Off...
There have been so many FF9 videos that i'm beginning to think doing another wouldn't be a smart idea. Unless of course I come up with a very different style of video. That's why I was considering Oasis' "Wonderwall." It would be a unique video guarenteed, but I'm not sure how to make it. I'm also now considering making it an artistic style FF9 video using Sting's "Desert Rose." I would edit it as an instrumental video, and I think I could make it a little better than "Wonderwall." Anyway, those are my two songs I am now considering. I need to play through the game again to get a feel for the video, but I doubt i'll do that. I have never played all the way through an FF game more than once...
meh...
I believe that covers everything...

Project Rip-Off (cont...)
2002-04-05 20:58:38
I've been thinking about this all day, and I can't come up with a good idea for an Utada Hikaru/FF9 video...It doesn't look like i'm ever going to finish my "Hikki Trilogy." All of my ideas always fall through. This one didn't even make past the planning stage...
This isn't the end of Project Rip-Off though. I still plan on doing a FF9 video. I considered Aerosmith's "Beyond Beutiful," and changed my mind. I'm still considering Oasis' "Wonderwall." It would be a unique video for sure, but i'm not sure how to go about making it. I also remixed DJ Mystic's "Moonlight Shadow" and "Butterfly" into one six minute song, and have been considering that. DJ Mystic has just been used so much. I'm even thinking about writing my own song for this video. The only problem with that is, I can't sing so it would be an instrumental video...
I'm not sure what to do...

Project Rip-Off
2002-04-05 13:52:07
Welcome to the early stages of what I call Project Rip-Off. I have not decided whether or not to go ahead with this, so it's not offical yet. Anyway, I watched Silver Moon's "Hanging by a Moment" video using FF9, and I am now considering doing my own FF9 video. I know it's not cool to copy other peoples work, and I'm not doing that. I was just inspired by her video to make my own. Since I probably never would have made an FF9 video if I hadn't seen hers, I am calling this Project Rip-Off...
I believe i'm going to make this video the second in my "Hikki Trilogy." Since my "Movin' On" video fell apart I think it will be better if I only use FF to make the entire trilogy. I want to make them all using Utada Hikaru, but I don't know if I can find 2 more songs by her that will fit the videos...
So now I will call my trio "The Hikki Fantasies" since I will only make them using FFs for footage...
This whole project is sounding a little meh right now, but hopefully with a little more thought I can figure out how to do it...

i'm sorry devo.
i got a little off track with meh....
i forgot it was a negative phrase.
i found one exception though, so now i just have to find the other two...
you said it can't be used in the centre of a sentence, but how about:
"This amv is so meh that i'm going to fall asleep."
i believe this could be an exception....
meh..

good meh to you devo...
your day sounded awful meh to me. my day hasn't been quite as meh as yours has, being that i focused all my energy for an hour this morning, and discovered what i believe to be 2 more uses of meh...
for instance:
day: good meh to you..
bad: your day sounded awful meh..
am i close yet devo, or are these way off. i pretty sure that meh can be used as some kind of greeting. it may not be "day" like i said above, but i know that you can greet with meh...it just sounds natural to say, good meh to you......
have a nice meh...
