  • The truth behind AMVs......... 2002-04-16 14:09:21 Well, Kerydwenn, you know what it's like to make an amv now. I'll fill you in furthur. It's a painfull addiction. Once you start a project, no matter where you are, or what you are doing, all you are thinking about is your video. I've had times where I couldn't sleep at night. I would lay in bed, and get idea after idea, and I couldn't sleep. I would eventually just get up and start editting. Eventually you will work about 3 or 4 hours on a project and Premiere will crash. Even though you usually save your work ever 5 minutes, Premiere will wait until the one time that you get real into a video and forget to save and crash. I had to redo the entire last minute of my Perfect Blue video because of this. I worked all night, and then Premiere crashed. I threw the mouse off the desk and went to bed furious. Of course I got up the next day and worked all day to finish the video. That's how amvs are. Some are fun to make, but some also become hell near the end. And after all of your work, all of your furious rants at Premiere, and the entire couple of weeks you've wasted on your video, you finish it. Then you go to bed happy for the first time in a month and wake up the next morning and watch your video and realize that it sucks. This isn't always the case, but a couple of videos that i've done have come out like this. Yet for some reason, you keep editing, because you are addicted. I've wasted entire days just sitting on the forum clicking refresh................

    This is the life I love, and no matter how upset I may get, I always end up editting again........

    I won't be happy unless I have 700 tonight, so please somebody look at my journal 8 times. While you are at it, look at it 308 times so I can go ahead and hit 1000..........^_^

    I found out about a anime convention being held in Durham today. It wasn't listed on this site, but it is May 24-26. My birthday just happens to be May 25. The con is only 20 minutes from my house, so what better way to spend my 20 birthday then by spending all weekend surrounded by anime. I haven't decided if i'm going to enter any of my videos, but I will atleast go. My first con.....yay.......^_^

  • Back to normal......for now 2002-04-16 07:29:55 I don't have to go to work today. YES!!!!!!!!!
    I'm not going to start capturing any footage for my new vid though, because by the time I finish the entire day will be wasted, and I have to go to work tomorrow. I might capture some tomorrow night, unless another big argument breaks out on the forum and I have to stress my opinion.....
    I'm hungry. My mother took my car to go get groceries, so I am now stuck here in the house without a means of transportation, so I guess I will have to cook something..<sighs>. I don't mind the cooking part, it's the having to wash the dishes once I finished part that gets to me. I think i'm going to train my dishes how to was theirselves. I have to find a way to get them some arms though........

    it's feels good to speak nonsense in my journal again. I was getting a little aggravated with all the censorship and other stuff I have been addressing in my previous entries..........
