  • WOW!!!!! 2002-06-28 23:10:37 Hot damn....

    This new site is awesome. It was well worth living without the org for 2 days.....

    Now I just got to get me an avatar for the forum. I think I'm going to call in sick to work just to spend all day in many forums I have to browse through now. That's it, I dropping out of college, and quitting work. I'm going to spend all my time in the awesome new forum....j/k

    To all I owe reivews, please forgive my tardiness. I will have them all up by Sunday night. It's been real hectic around here, and I just haven't found the time. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten....

    I got my Shamanic Princess complete edition today. Haven't got around to watching it yet though...

    Anyways, off to figure out how to make my way around the site....

    As for my little anime section, the answer was no. We can't carry an anime section. He could see where it would fit in, he just doesn't think it would sell very well. He did however say that I can special order anime from Alliance though. I can order all my anime through them, and get my 20% discount, not to mention the discount Alliance already gives Hungates for ordering from them. This being a major plus point, I went ahead and ordered me Shamanic Princess Complete Collection on DVD. It should be here either next Thursday, or the following Wednesday. YES!!!!!!

    And in closing I would just like to say thanx to Akuma, Scooterkid, and Zarxrax for their reviews. Look foward to seeing your review Tobinhood. Nailz, your review is coming. I will do it tomorrow morning before work...

    I have had one review of my new vid so far, and it was a rather pleasant review. I think it's going to be accepted nicely, except for the fact that it uses a Britney Spears song....

    In work news, it turned out to be a pretty good night. I was browsing through the Alliance(they are one of Hungate's distributors) order file looking for any new items I might would like to try when I do my order this weekend. To my surprise, I opened up the book to a Kenshin advertisement. Evidently, Alliance which is our game distributor also distributes anime. I literally ran over to Jerry asking him if I could order some. He was the shift supervisor tongiht. He said I would have to wait and ask Brian, the manager. Now, I think I can convince him to let us start carrying anime. First, I consider anime a hobby, and an art form. Thus it makes since to have it in an arts and hobbies store. Second, he wouldn't have to do anything. I would add the anime to the end of my line file, so I would be ordering the anime. I already do the ordering from Alliance, so nothing really would change. I would just have a few extra things on my file. We have the anime available to us, so why not take advantage of it. The only point he could make against me would be the lack of space for it. The store is already crowded. All I could really think to do would be to get rid of some of the childrens toys. I order those too. Just cut those in half, and then we have about two feet of shelf space open for my anime section. I'll be seeing Brian Saturday, so wish me luck....

    Wow, I sound like a child asking his parents for a pet......0_o'
