Very nice.............
2002-07-24 19:05:56
I quite enjoyed the tapestry illusion effect Omni. It set you up with a lot more options for effects than with just have one layer of video. I would say more, but I'm going to save the rest for the review. I did enjoy it though. Now I only need to get Dancing Stars to dl, and I will have all of FtR. Then I can truly begin on F(t)tR.....^_^'
I was going to review your latest vid tonight, Silver_moon. Since you're going on vacation for the next five days I suppose I could wait on yours and go ahead and review "Moonlight Vengeance". I don't know when, but your review will be waiting for you when you get back. Have fun at the Pacific Ocean. I know i'll be having the time of my life AT WORK!!!!!
So, umm, video news from me. Let's see, nothing yet. I'm torn bewteen two vids right now, and I can't work on more than one at a time like some other people can. I'm not sure how you do it. One drives me crazy. I can't even sleep in the middle of a project. I could imagine trying more than one......
So...

{Omnistrata's Last Entry}
---- Muahahahhah, I can't wait to see what Digital_Dojo (DD) has in store for
F(t)tR. ^_^ DD is one of my favorite bra sizes! Uh, not that I wear them or anything...
LOL ----
<quickly thinking of witty remark>
Well umm...Omni is my favorite type of presence????
<damn, that could have been so much better had I tried a little harder...>
It would be cool to be omnipresent. Okay, I'm officially announcing that as my new goal in life. I want to exsist everywhere........^_^'
Umm, yeah, I perfer the smaller bra sizes myself, but I don't wear them either....umm. This whole entry has gotten way to weird for me...
I'm going to go design my own version of the wired so I be omnipresent all throughout it.....
Your review is up xTrunkZx. All that's left now of the revised Blueprint other than victory dances is to review Silver_Moon's vid. I might get to it tonight. If not, i'll do it tomorrow after work.....

The Blueprint (Pt. 2)
2002-07-23 00:32:14
Well, that schedule sure did get screwed all to hell. I watched the second Lain DVD before going to work, then came straight home and watch the third. Just finished Sierra's review, and want to watch the final Lain DVD but I need to review xTrunkZx's vid. Yet, my eyes are burning, and I am too tired to do either. So here is the revised blueprint schedule...
1> Watch second Lain disc (DONE)
2> Work (DONE)
3> Watch third Lain disc (DONE)
4> Review Sierra's vid (DONE)
5> Sleep
6> Review xTrunkZx's vid
7> Shower
8> Review Silver_Moon's vid
9> Celebrate in honor of completing all eight tasks
10> Pass out with pride at having a usefullness over 500 after these three reviews...
So there it is...
Now I'm going to cower(sp?) in fear on the front of my bed. I wonder if I'm the only one that gets very VERY paranoid and freaked out after watching Lain. I can't even sleep at night because of the wierd dreams it gives me. Hmm......

The Blueprint
2002-07-22 12:02:07
Well, it feels good to be back home. Now to get to those reviews I'm so far behind on. Sierra and xTrunkzX, your reviews will be done tonight. I promise. As soon as I get home from work I'm going to do Sierra's review. Then I will probably rest about and hour, or perhaps watch the next volume of Lain. After that I will get yours done xTrunkZx. It should be pretty long too. A seven minute video, and I have a lot to say about it. Perhaps it will be my longest yet. I also just got your Trigun vid, Silver_moon. I plan on getting it reviewed tomorrow. So heres the plan.
1>Work
2>Review "Anime Cheerleading Remix"
3>Watch second volume of Lain
4>Review "For One Moment"
5>Watch third volume of Lain
6>Capture footage for next video
7>Try to sleep
8>Review "Let it Make Me Strong"
9>Victory dance in honor of completing all 8 other task.....
10>Pass out with pride at having a usefullness rating over 500 after these 3 review(hopefully)...
And with that said, guess what will be mine in about 3 weeks. Yes, that's right the Eva boxset. I get paid Friday, and might get it then, but will probably wait until my next check following Friday to order it. Since Best Buy has it for $109, I can't pass that deal up. It's been $169 everywhere else. Even if I order it through work, and get my employee discount it would still be more than buying it from Best Buy...
One final note...
Isn't it nice when you return from out of town to find two rented X-Box games on your tv that you had forgotten completely about before you left. I just carried them back, and had a $32 dollar late fee. They were a little over a week late. Luckily I'm friends with one of the girls that works there, and she happened to be there today. She split the fee with me, so I only had to pay $16. That's still quite a big fee. I'm just lucky she was there, because I'm having a hard time seeing myself paying $32 and not getting something back in return. I could buy an anime DVD with that money...

"So, I restarted Navi, and behold the miracle that is backwards audio."
2002-07-16 23:17:28
Why must Premiere delay my progress. Do you know how hard it is to edit when your clips don't show up in the preview window. Not only that, but every now and then, they just vanish from the timeline. Not to mention occasionally the audio play BACKWARDS..... I know Navi is powerful enough to handle editting the vobs. She may not be able to withstand the might that is Fifi, but she can hold her ground with Premiere. So, I'm not sure what the problem is. I have sqaure pixels selected for both the clip properties, and project properties. When I adjust the in/out points of the clips, it shows in the preview window, but that is the only time. Hell, even the studio logo doesn't show up in the preview window, and it's just a regular .avi. My clips were showing for a while, then about 10 minutes into editting, they vanished, about the sametime that the first clip vanished fromt the timeline. So, I restarted Navi, and behold the miracle that is backwards audio. Now, not only did the clips not show up, but the audio played backwards. After another restart, the audio track vanished from the timeline. After one final restart I got the audio straightened back up, but still no video. Premiere has gotten a mind of it's own. I'm not sure what is going on. Perhaps it's time for a reinstall or something.....
So instead I went and found my old movie, Mech Battle. I made it back in Doga L2 about a year ago. I had on VCD, so I converted it to a mpeg, and plan on putting it up on Devo's ftp soon. I'm not going to list it here because it isn't an amv. It's an original 3D animation of 3 robots fighting each other for no appartent reason. I put the link in my journal once I get it up, so keep your eye open. Yes, just that one....
