  • Almost throught.......sadly..... 2002-07-25 23:20:18 I just finished episode 20. Only 6 more to go. I think I will save those for after work tomorrow. 20 episodes isn't bad for one days worth of anime watching. I did take about an hour in between the 5th and 6th disc review your vid Silver_moon. Other than that, and the hour I was gone to pick up Eva, all i've done all day is watch it straight through. It's been so good that I'm reluctant to watch the last 2 disc. I want to see them, but once I watch them, then it's over. I've finished the series. I don't want it to end yet. With Battle Athletes, I didn't buy a boxset. I don't even think they have one. I both them disc one at a time. So my experiece was streched out over a few months. I'm kinda wishing now that I would have only watched Eva about 1 or 2 discs a week. Oh well, at least I have Death and Rebirth, and End of Eva to look foward too. It's going to be a hard day at work tomorrow. Especially since I'm going to be fighting the urge to charge Death and Rebirth all day. I'm just going to have to avoid Suncoast at all cost. I would be killed if I came home with yet another anime. This whole addiction thing is getting ridiculous....

    Must learn to control my urges...

  • Finally, The Eva has come back to North Carolina..... 2002-07-25 14:12:11 Well, I do now finally own the Eva boxset. Just got back from Best Buy with it. I planned on waiting until I got paid tomorrow, but I had enough savings to go ahead and get it. So even though I am complelety broke, actually about 40 in the hole when you consider credit cards, it was worth it to finally own Eva. I get paid tomorrow, so I should be able to make it without any money for the next 24 hours........

    I can't wait to see what's going to wrong now that I'm broke. I've bought the last 3 disc to Lain, and the entire Eva boxset in the span of one week. I really need to get this anime addiction under control. Hell, I almost came home with the Bubblegum Crisis boxset too. I would have had to charge that though, so I will wait hopefully, until a few more paychecks come in.....

    Well, I have 650 minutes of Eva to watch before work tomorrow morning, so if you would excuse me, I need to go lock myself in my room away from all distractions and get to it...

    Okay, I'm not putting all this together right. Damn you Lain, i'm not going to be able to sleep tonight. I can already tell. That final disc of Lain was so incredible, my mind is running about a million times faster than it ever has before trying to put it all together...

    I feel like a changed person. I've never experienced anything quite like this before...

    I'm going to go now. I have some comtemplating to do...
