Nate and I just got back from hosting a presentation on anime/manga/AMVs/graphic design (yeah, RANDOM)/illustration/comics that Nate totally forgot about and finally remembered, like, two days before. Really cool people there, had some fun chats, good times, free food, the works. Most of the audience loved our stuff, even if it wasn't exactly G-rated material (They said "LAID!!" [during Kiss is Still a Kiss]). Yeah, the censors were watching us.
The most interesting thing about it, though, was afterwards. A random eight-year-old (might have been eight, I'm bad at age-guessing) asked for our autographs! Nate's done it, but I'm like, "What? Why?" No, trust me, I acted nicely and did it, hell, even gave a smiley face... but dude... I get no money out of this hobby but I feel pretty DAMN good after signing an autograph. Rock. Snootch to the Nootch and other catch phrases I constantly rip off. Ok, too excited. Back to working on AMVs! - New video 2003-06-05 07:31:12 Yep, ya heard me. *I* have a new video idea, and I have it mapped out, storyboarded, organized and ready to go. I'm gonna be in charge of this one after a full year of no AMV work, so this will be interesting. Once Nate and I finish this one project we're on now, it's gonna be go-time on this one. Friends of mine beware, there's gonna be a preview at Otakon. Ohh baby. Can't wait to get to work.

Ok I read some of what you (MCWagner) have written about the Disney sequels and all I have to say is... what the fark? Why do you even watch them? You probably answered this because I have no attention span to read past the horror that is Lady and the Tramp II. Dude, they got Homer's voice actor to do the genie in Aladdin II. Yep, Dan Castalleneti (too tired to spell it right... and drunk). That's why it's rather odd. He's the voice actor of the genie in Kingdom Hearts, too.
I never had any faith in Disney sequels after I heard about the release of Lion King II. That's a travesty. I didn't like the first movie to begin with (so formula), but a sequel? That's terrible! Might as well have thrown in some porn actors and made it a beastiality flick. It'd probably get more purchases that way. Lion's King, it would be called. I'm sorry, I've been a bad punner all night. We had a friend over (name changed to protect the innocent) tonight who we got drunk with while watching porn, and this guy's a cinematographer so we kept saying "that's an Alex shot. No, that's an Alex shot." So finally I just told him that if he were to star in a porno it would be called, "Alex's shots." Isn't that terrivle? I should stop talking now and go to sleep.
