So tonight's a halloween party and I'm helping my friends make their costumes. One guy looks EXACTLY like Neo, all down from head to boots, it's rockin. Not much in terms of complicated design, but still. Oh, and no guns on em. We're in NYC, remember. Another guy's got a while Dr. Doom from Danger Girl setup and that one is working well, even if it is homemade with a tiny gluegun. A girlfriend of mine (not girlfriend, girlfriend, but a friend who is a girl), is going as Hermoine (how is that pronounced? Her-mee-oh-nee or Her-mon-ee? when I listen to the books on tape it's Her-mon-ee. Somebody tell me!!) and that costume's pretty easy if you see the movie pictures. I could do it and win the best drag outfit (whose prize if $50 more than the costume contest).
So since I have a big dorm and no roommate (heaven? Mmm... yes) everyone leaves their shit here. Not like I mind, but I'm not going to be the one cleaning this up afterwards, believe me.
So anyways just wanted to update. By the way, EK, that's "Outbound" from Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, the best live band I have seen next to The Who on that concert for NYC thing (and Phish but they're honorable mention). That album really does not show enough of the mastery that is the bass twiddler or the dead-on swiftness of Bela. You want to see talent? You gotta see Bela live. - Right now another good music video is defacated on by a better anime music video 2001-10-24 00:01:09 Heh, funny.

And sleep I did not get.
It's 9:30... normally I would have class now but not this week. Normally I would be asleep... so why am I up? Because there's god damn noise on the other side of the hallway. Building maintenance is replacing a wall for the fire alarm system (don't ask I don't know either) and they're almost done since I am ready to go postal. I guess I shouldn't complain since I already have five hours of sleep, I think that's enough for one night. Soon I'll have computer class and I'll have to bitch my way through that as well so fun times shall be had by all. Yeah.
