Anime in bed...

I set up a tv in my room yesterday. This marks the first time i was able to watch anime in bed. I must say, relaxing in bed while watching anime is the best way to go.
I was able to finish off the last 4 hours of Escaflowne yesterday. I really like the show, but the ending pissed me off.
I got two meets comeing up. I really hate the pool it's at...
My computer class gave us this sight to look at. I think it's not a school site, but who am I to complan.

I work at a city pool, as a life guard. (I would be traning to be a beach lifeguard right now, if it were not for my BAD eyesight.)
...Being a beach life guard would be much cooler, and fun.
Now then, I now hate my job. The heater broke this sat. so the water was 72 degress. The wind was at like 25 mph, with gusts around 35, and this was a wind for the artic. The wind chill factor was like 50, but with water (cold water mind you) I bet it was around 25. Now even with all that, it was still sunny, and I got sunburned. This was not the worst of it.
Because the heater was broken, the manger (who was not there) called in that he wanted the pool covers to be put on. Now this is a large (over 50 meters long, but 25 yards wide) and it was a windy day. Me, and two others spent TWO hours trying to put them on. (side note, when I first heard that we had to put on the covers, I complaned saying it would take at least an hour, the others (who where not staying to put on covers) laughed at me and said it would take about 15 mins... God I hate them now) This was increadly dangous, becasue the pool convers get blown around by the wind. Now the covers are about 10 feet wide, and 25 yards long. They would get vertical, and be a huge sail in the the wind. When we tryed to keep them from blowning away by holding on to it, it would fling us though the air. If a pool cover blew over you, it would be very (VERY) easy to dround. I can go the whole 50 meters under water, but I need like 45 secs. of prep. breathing to do it, so if with out warning a cover blew over me, there would be a high chance I could not make it out, and I was the best swimmer of the three of us.
We would get like half the covers done (about 20 mins) and the wind would pick them all up and thow them out of the pool. We got to the point where if we saw it staring to pick up, we would run out of the pool, (rember cold water and high winds) and jump from the pool deck on top of the covers (10 feet in the air) to try to take down the sail. At one point (early on) I made the mistake of stading on the cover (from out side the pool, it was only half in at the time) as it was being blown away. Now, I'm 300 pounds, but it picked me up like I was nothing, plus broke 3 binding, and damn near draged a whole metal frame (that the cover were wraped on) into the water.)
It was fun, for about the first 30 mins... (even spite the cold) but after that, it just looked hopeless. When we left the covers were on, but we all knew that it was just a matter of time till they blew off.
...I put an extra 3 hours on my time sheet, and I still don't feel right.
...and I'm sunburnt.

Well, I have been converting footage all weekend. (when I'm home) I still have not gone and made notes about the footage. (I'll do that... when I feel like it)
I sent in my paperwork for AX2002. I got in for the cheaper deadline, but just barely. I still have not heard how or when to send my video.
I really would like to send the video I'm starting to make now, but I am pretty sure I won't have it done in time. I guess it depends on how much free time I have, and how long it takes to get that higher quailty verson of my song.
I feel like I'm on the cutting eage of something.

It's seems messed up. The creator came to tell us about it on carire day, but I don't think it's all that great.
I am in the process of spliting up and lableing my footage now. I've got a whole system where I write notes on the moive (in segments of every 10 mins or so) and what footage might be good for my next video. I want to do a very thourh job with this video. I would like to finish it before AX2002, and submit it, but I bet that won't happen.
I would also like to finish it before the end of this school year, so I can be in contact with the band that does the song.
Oh well, well see. (still waiting for higher quailty audio)
