-I think you're putting me on a pedastal a tad, to be honest. If you've "known who I was since you got here", then it's probably just because I'm on the forums so damn much. Mine are nothing special, really. Not innovative, not unique; just footage and music with a bit of care paid to where one goes in relation to another. I worry constantly about whether or not it makes any sense at all, and when I put up a new video, first thought in my head is "People are gonna hate this."

-Yes, I do. It's not fandom without fans, now is it? Newb or vet, we're all fans pursuing a hobby we enjoy. Some people just get tons of praise for their works. It doesn't make them better people, and it doesn't mean that those who are just learning or whose videos have not won an award should be shunned. We're all fans following a hobby to kill free-time. That's really it.
I'll let it drop after this, if you really do not wish to discuss it anymore, but I feel that you are putting people on a pedastal unnecessarily. -

Hve you SEEN any of my videos, Sarah? On a good day, at the peak of my performance, I'm mediocre. And if my website was still up, I'd direct you to my drawing gallery, most of which is crap, only really one on there that I like enough to call it anything approaching a semblance of being good.
I dislike pretty much everything I've created. I cringe whenever someone asks to see my videos, because I know they're crap. They're horrible. I could go on, but then this would turn into another Chaos Angel Bitch Session, and I'm not in a mood for one of those (surf my journal to see what I mean).
But, I do know how it is, Sarah. Sucks, but I can't change it. My videos are a waste of HD space for the most part.
And if you think I'm just placating you or something stupid like that, ask Flint_the_Dwarf about my Inferiority Complex Bitch Sessions I sometimes toss into this journal and forget to make private. -

Wow... people are considering quitting because Euphoria was so awesome? Wow... was that a forum post, because I must have missed that.
Euphoria is amazing, but anyone who is going to quit because it is so awesome does need to reevaluate themselves a tad, I agree.
Me, Euphoria did ignite my inferiority complex quite a bit, same way Shameless Rock Video and Sappy Self-Indulgence did. How could it not? It flows very fluidly, never looses pace, maintains rhythm and interest visually and aurally throughout, the effects are astounding. Koop has a fantastic head for the technical and aesthetic application of digital effects, and I applaud him his talent. I'm also envious, because I do not have much of a head for effects aesthetically (although I am learning, you should see some of the ideas I have in my head for the video I am currently planning).
The thing to keep in mind, as Flint said, is to remember that everyone has different talents in different areas. Don't let Koop's awesomeness depress you; you probably have areas of talent that he doesn't.
Sarah, you've made some good videos. Stop saying you suck!! ::shakes fist::

In non-AMV news, I finished watching 10th Kingdom today. I really loved it!! It's a mini-series that originally aired on CBS. Very nice, too. I want to buy my own copy now. ::wants::
It's a fantasy mini-series based around Grimm's fairytales and it's 7 hours long total.

In other news, I feel like re-hashing something about the Trigun dub, but I feel it's too redundant for the forums.
Although I still think he sounds a bit too young for Vash, Johnny Bosch does do a good job of hitting the right moments. The worst thing an actor could do with Vash is monotone him, and Bosch doesn't do that. He's pretty good at hitting the over-the-top moments and the serious moents. Milly's VA seems to have improved since last episode as well, although my memories of THE scene still burn within me and I cannot forget it. When I watched that scene, I had just seen it for the first time and felt like crying. Then, I checked the English dub out of morbid curiosity and felt likle breaking something. English Milly has burned a very negative impression in my brain, but she's not all bad truth for true.
(I'll still watch the subs on my DVDs.)
Damn, did anyone else see the glitches that popped up during AS's airing of Trigun ep 2 today? Those were horrible. I hope those get straightened out for when the series hits re-runs.
Oh, and I don't know who on the forum said it, but I agree: It'd be great if CN aired some comoedy anime or romantic comedy/drama anime. That would be teh sweetness.
