Looking over my entry about the Tatu video, I realized something.
The idas are there for filmmaking (albiet too large a scale for student work), it's the process that's irritating. Trying to come up with manageable ideas since I can't effectively use the ones I have is annoying. Film editting is tedious and I HATE it with a passion!!
Digital editting is sooo much easier and better.
The ideas and whatnot are there, I just hate the process of getting them out.

Maybe I should write a few screenplays and see what comes out of them.
I was talking to my roomie, and he said that maybe I should consider being an editor.
Maybe...
Ugh. I think I'm rambling. I'm tired and I have a final at 1 pm tomorrow...
And yet, I'm about to hit the forums...

Everytime I listen to <b>Tatu's</b> <i>All The Things She Said</i>, I get images in my head for a video about going literally crazy over a relationship. Yeah, it's directly inspired by the song, but they drive me crazy because I know of no anime that matches the images in my mind.
1. Two girls. I don't think the song would work for a heterosexual relationship (obviously)
2. One girl running through the rain on a dark night holding her head as if tormented by inner voices.
3. The other girl being very snide and condescending, in expression and body tone, not dialogue.
In my head, one girl is being completely manipulated and emotionally abused by her lover, who is a total bitch who loves having power over people and delights in causing them heartache. The video conceptually is a psuedo-narrative about how girl 1 is driven completely crazy by girl 2 and commits suicide amidst constant images and memories that misrepresent reality and make the relationship seem happier and more fulfilling than it really was. Ending shot is girl 1 laying in a puddle of rainwater with her eyes half open as the camera pans slowly away and watercolor images depicting false happy memories fade in and out in time to the music. Fade out completely as her eyes close and the song ends.

If I do manage to somehow get into the next level of the Film Production classes (the counselor today said it is possible, albiet a small chance if I don't get a B in the class, and the next program will have the editting done in digital, so no more cutting film!!), maybe I should do this video.
But... hmmm.... Does anyone who reads this journal know of an anime that might match these images? Shoujo-Ai, not happy, sad and dark, moody.
...preferably domestic, and maybe not a big series. An OAV or a movie...
