I have too many ideas...
In other news, I will start up a web comic. Nothing fancy. I have ideas for three, but I am going to start one now, work on improving my drawing style for another, and work on developing a more serious drama-esque style for the third. The first I already have three comics for. The first one will be familiar to some people on this site. It is my Suicide strip. It will be a Far Side and Rubes-esque one-shot one-panel comic. I am not going to worry too much about the art quality on this one, because it is more of an outlet for my bizarre sense of humor. The second is the comic idea I mentioned sparingly earlier, anthro/sci-fi that is more of a character-oriented story than an action-thing. The third one WILL require me to revamp my drawing style entirely before it can look the way I want it too. It's an action-drama sci-fi/fantasy space opera thing with inspirations by Outlaw Star and Tenchi Muyo in terms of the technology and world settings. Features a universe where magic co-exists alongside high technology. I want to do it badly, but I need to work on touching up my drawing style, both by being much more careful and critical of how I draw, and studying some people who utilize the style I wish to use (Michael Poe of Errant Story and Jeff Smith of Bone specifically).
Yeah. I figured I'd make good use of the web site I am getting through NeMiSiS (see below). I may or may not host a video or two on a rotational basis (I will only have 3 GB of bandwidth per day and change to work with, after all), but I will still largely depend on the Carrot/Donut for video hosting, and will most likely give people a pointer link to the org for downloading my videos.
Woot. I am making a web comic. I'll put a link here and in the forum when it's up. I am thinking of naming it after my Lain/Tweaker video. "Mindless Randomosity" seems like a good title for it. It will probably be a weekly thing, I am thinking Fridays, but we'll see. -

And now for something... something.
I am using some footage from the domestic Eva TV release in a video, andI decided to try something. I decided to try using level adjustments and saturation filters to see if I could rig up a poor-man's Renewal of Evangelion. Without having a RoE screenshot of the scene in question, I dunno how accurate it is, but it does look brighter and the colors are more dynamic. I'll post a sample later. My compy is test-rendering a segment of the Hellsing video I am working on for the ever-encroaching Otakon deadline (I need to get that damn thing finished!!) and I am entering this on my parents spyware-infested compy. (this thing gets pop-up ads like mad, and has so many useless background programs it runs slooooow. I can't watch XviD videos on this thing, it can't handle it without making them choppy.)
Anyway, yeah. I'll post some samples later. -
