Knew it...as soon as I saw the menu on the DVD. They warned me, they told me all about it...and Weiss Kreuz is just as gorgeous and wonderful as they promised me...oh, the little shits.
I was so good. When Jim's mother was here for the wedding reception, no game playing, no "strange" anime DVDs (though she loved the AMG movie and all the Ruroni Kenshin we could throw at her...) - so this little lovely sat on the shelf above the combo player waiting for a quiet moment.
*drool* Jim had to work late all this week (radiology tech in hospitals) and I watched this with a Asashi firmly in one hand and the leftover chocolate almonds near the other. Oh, the videos that could come out of this series!
That is, if I can stand to turn off the soundtrack.
Y'know, it's irony. You don't play games around your parents so you don't get in trouble with them. Twenty years go by and you do the same thing because you know it irritates them and you love them too much to piss 'em off. End result = the same.

There are two Death by Chocolate tortes in the lunch room, I'm back at work and I still don't know where I'm going to find a place to put the $500 worth of china I got Saturday.
There's nothing that says capitalism like a Western-style wedding. NOTHING.
And the Baptists are declaring Jihad on the Catholics in Missouri the first two weeks in February - I'd laugh except they supposed to be wiser than me. So I think I'll have another beer and ignore them. Again.
Spent too much money at Fry's again. Bought Dance Dance Revolution complete with Pad. Need to work off the extra Chocolate tortes....
