Okay, so the last post was a bit off the cuff. I was hungry, stressed and well, hungry.
At last count, four AMV folks have been punted by featureprice.com - Machine just the last of them.

These are the folks I was talking about, and Brian tells me they can handle just about everything we can throw at them, with "multiple T3 feeds from UUNet and BBNPlanet..."
I'm dead serious. ASK FOR THE MOON. All he can say is no or he can't do it. When I worked for Cyberg8t, we hosted porn sites. I can vouch that Brian knows what bandwidth useage is - and if he can afford us, he'll host us.
And as for what it costs, I'd bet Krispy Kremes he'd top anyone's price just to get the business. More than one account like that? Oh, he'd love it - and I know where their offices are and can stand in them until I get an explanation. For whatever.
And the folks at Ultimate are nice folks. They know ugly - they buy companies that treat their users ugly, and take good care of them.
All I can offer - you all have my sympathies. This really sucks!! -

Y'know, this looks like a wonderful opportunity.
I worked for an ISP local to me...who ripped me a new one before going under themselves...and they were bought by a pretty good bunch of folks.
My old boss' boss is now the guy selling webspace and connectivity. Probably on commission...the jerk.
He owes me one. He owes me big time...and now, I think I can deliver just the wallop he deserves.
Give me specs. Ask for the moon. Let's see how badly he wants to get paid this month. Bwahahaha.....
