Banner angst
2002-02-02 14:10:40
I am probably never going to try to subit a banner to this sight ever again, not one that's animated anyway. I had it all ready to go, and Low and behold I was 2 count 'em TWO measely Kilobites over the limit. No matter what I did, Paint, cut, edit, re-time, slash, NOTHING worked. After an hour, I may have missed lunch, but I got it submitted, darnit. Well, time for more Lunar 2 now. Be free young one, go download something, (but review it when you're done [hint-hint].)

Beating Lunar: SSSC is a pretty cool thing. Those anime cut scenes in the end truly kicked ass, and that had to be the hardest boss battle I ever suffered through. In Final Fantasy RPGs, for the boss, you just clobber, clobber, clobber, heal, repeat. But it's not so easy when the boss has like a million hit-points and can drain you're health as well as putting up a stupid sheild, and randomly instantly killing one of my guys. If I hadn't have horded angel's tears, starlights and silverlights, as well as equipping every gall-damn safety in the book, I'd be a dead Alex. Any about to play this game, go into the last battle like you're about to face the apocalypse, and you'll be just fine. Then sit back, and watch the quality anime ending. GALL DAMN I WISH THEY HAD A JAPANESE WITH SUBTITLES OPTION.
Also, a note on the out-takes, They're pretty funny, but not for the content, they're funny because Appearently the voice actors were very insistant on saying "that take sucked" or "I messed that up, beep [Fuck.]" Well appearently, the line between quality and rejection in RPG voice acting is transparent, because much of the time the lines that "sucked" Sounded as good or better than the actual lines that working design went with. Sigh. Curse you Carl Mackek.
