  • AMV shoutcast? 2005-07-05 02:39:42 I'm watching Invader Zim on shoutcast tonite, and I started wondering if AMVs.org shouldn't have their own shoutcast link. There's only a HUGE local server Jam-packed with on-demand videos at the disposal of the org. What's holding them back?

    Quite mad indeed that Animemusicvideos.org ERASED my entry for my futurama video. Is "My thousand Year life" an AMV...Well, just because it doesn't come from Japan should not automatically disqualify it. At the very least I would have liked to have been notified that they were removing it, Sirrah, I only just found out.

    Me? No. I wanted to make some killer Utena videos. There was more than enough substance and I had more than a few strong ideas, one I commited to, and I open DVD decoder with intent to Dr. Divx.

    Now, like I said pack the real thing. Those DVDs that are released here in the US for Anime fans here in the US, those are the ones you want. Oh, but Pitt! Wait. Look, Vintage stock has the hong-kong import, used once full box set with every episode and the movie on just 5 DVDs.

    Hong Kong pirates have kept me watching anime at a fraction of the cost, and better quality than Warez.

    Good side: Cheap, quick, thourough.

    Bad side: Lower Quality than domestics, usert inteface unfriendly, no special features, and DVD decrypter will open your DVD tray somewhere around 70% VST_05 and spit that cheap clone right into your face with a non-sensical disk read error. My guess is there's just too much data on the DVDs, there's not a scratch on the blighters, so I havn't a clue what else it could be. Anyway, do any journal readers out there think you can help me sort this out?

  • Cleaning house 2004-02-22 01:56:08 I know it's bratty to demmand feedback, and might be spoiled to start erasing my videos just because They don't get feedback, but I'm doing it all the same. Those that have my videos, I hope you enjoy them. I'm deleting every video that has not been responded to in some form from my server.
