Movie review

Subtitles, not a big deal. When you need to read them there is very little action so nothing to miss if you're slow, reading wise. Lots of action and good colour symbolism. But seeing the same people fight and die over and over again got boring. Great retelling of a great period of history. Thought i prefer the romance of the three kings doms to the warring states era. They are close but still. I have my likes. So i recomend it. Terintino is good at suppliy quality HK cinema.
And for something else. Adult swim on cartoon network. At first it was loaded with anime. Now not so much. All they show is lupin III, inu yasha and Detective conan/case closed in a constant loop. I still watch adult swim but not for the anime. Plus i don;t trust a network that calls DBZ as the best all time anime. that title goes to Hello Kitty. Just kidding. If it was up to my, which it is not i would say:

I don;t understand what thebig deal is. I don't care. Yes i did make a video that was, i like to think, hum,rus and had gay content. Was i makeing fun of gay's? no. In fact, from my experience, t was fairly accurate, except for the beating bit. And i use the term "gay" to describe things. Is it insulting? only if you think gay is bad. And the the problem is on your end, not mine. And i'm not gonna apologise for my opinion cause, why should i? I don;t care what people think. And if i get backlash for this, I don't care. This is just how i am. So there, neener neener. I have always been a big fan of both yaoi and yuri. Not obsessed, okay maybe a little. I mean, it seems like half of all anime charecters are gay. Maybe it's a culter thing, but i don't think so. But if someone believe's that being gay is wrong, well then i just except it. It's their right to believe that. Maube that's because i'm not an idiot and do believe in equality. ANd here's that part where i useually get slamed. President Bush is agaenst gays, big deal. I, in fact, admire the fact that he voices his opinion and acts on it. I am dissagree but still. The united states of america is based on freedom right. And as such the leader, yes he was elected offcially recounts and all, wants to follow his beliefes then he should. If that is agenst the general views of the public, well thats what we have check and balences for. Kerry? I don;t trust him at all. He doesn't seem to know what he is talking about. ANd any one who protest's a war he fought in, is suspisous as hell. War crimes or not. I think america gets too much flack for Vietnam. Which if ayone doesn't yet know was France's fault. And the French, well their french what did every one expect. Beutiful country, people dumb as rocks, sorry an over generalisation. I'll rephrase. The french that make most public commentary are dumb as rocks. Better? Let's see thats enogh to get me muged by people, so i'll shut up for now. Remember bound by nothing you are free of everything.

Exorcist: The begining

I'll keep this breif, i hope. story good. good references witht them there native people of africa. The spcial effects... they looked just like the ones in the original movie. In other words sucks for today's tech. It was great back then but they can do better. And just one time i want to see a nazi that's not a complete asshole. just once, one good nazi. But no. Any way I'm not sure if this movie was pro christian or not. But never mind

Cause it sucked. I remeber that during the previews they talked as if cloneing was just taking sperm and an egg. But they fixed that i guess. The premis was based on genetics doing something they just can't do. And how come the doctor had to get parent to donate and egg. They ae for sale. really. Not sure why. The writting fizzedeled out by the third act and the charectures forgot what the hell they wanted to do. so sucked and the "sex" scene lacked anything one wanted to see, no redemption. Good points none at all.
Alien vs. Predator

Um, not up to the quality of the other movies, with exception to Alien Resserection. But major plot wholes. Aliens need hosts right? The predators have high tech stuff right? So can't they tell if they have hostes for the aliens so they can hunt them... Well that part is dumb. then did any one tell them what they were hunting? you think acid blood would be first lesson. metal, even space metal, is useless with acid on it. bloddy hell. And this, posibly overrlooked. Predators are honorable beings. It would kill it self if it was implanted with an alien. Thats what makes them cool. but that damn sequal game reference thing at the end. not worth it at all. But the best part of the movie for me was the line. i ended hanging with some guy at least 17yo who ran through the fountain out front. all he did was talk. funny as hell. Oh and one more hole. With store ther only effective weapon at the site where it could be stolen. But it did teach a valuable lesson. never imprison a creature with acid blood in metal. Godd points, great action lots of death and a, only one, predator being the ultimate badass.
Yu-Gi-Oh the movie

I thought there was going to be a fight. Random givaways are dangerous. bad idea. the movie it self okay. Names still messed up, i miss anzu and pervy grandpa. But when i thought this series couldn't screw up egyptian lore anymore they did anubish, the mage or what ever. Read a bloody Book. anyway. why did the monster not just give the damn card to kaiba in the first place. And why didn;t he just dueal a heck load of newb plays andf suck their souls. o he had to attack the guy who handed his ass to hi the first time. Anime does that way too much. And why was astral anzu(tea) glowy. why did the jet have to be a dragon??? Good points, cool dueling lots of anzu action in school uniform. - Rant Time!!! 2004-08-19 02:13:14 Okay, i'm gona whine now so most people will hate me. First, sub vs. dub. i don't care. they are about the same now, sept the dubs hgave less reading. Yes i do have a problem with dub's that change stuff, i.e. sailor moon, card captor sakura and the like, but that just doen't happen anymore. Okay some times, i have my doupts with Detective Conan/Cae Closed, buts that's the exception. This whole "I only watch the subtitled versions." is elitist BS. And the Hong Kong translation are just plain weird, i think they change names and stuff. Anyhow that's not all I wanted to say. As for subtitles in videos. Get over them. If you have the skill to watch anime with subtitles, yes it is a skill it takes time to learn how to do it well, it shouldn't matter if they are there or not. In fact it should be easy, cause you dn;t have to read them. If the subtitles make no sence for the video then don't read them. Next topic art. Music is art. Anime, to an extent, is art. together they can be art. okay this is where i go all libral art degree on you, sorry. But beside that i'm not as out there as I can be. But i do try to be artistic with this stuff. And doing and effect that ties the end back to the start of the video isn't random placement. Okay now the real world rant portion for this evening. Customers at video gmae stores. Okay i was in a game stop. one customer, that seemed to know the cleark and was asking him for money to buy a game, was telling a little 10yo kid not to buy the game he wanted to buy and telling him to buy a game that he hated. more elitist bs. Gamers shut up. This kind of stuff is okay in a forum, using the classic use of the word, where this is okay. Don't go forcing your fasicst game views on little kids, yes they may be dumb but its the moral thing to do. Same with most mac users, but now's not the time for a mac rant, thids thing s getting long. Okay now what is wrong with Iceland. They're answer to fat kids is a TV show with a pick hair 8yo, okay that part sounds familier, who lives in a town where the villien wants people to be lazy, well at least it beats that old destroy the world shtick. But the super hero look like an old melodrama villien, handlebar mustasche and all. he wants kids to active. thats it. half an hour of that. every day. Well i ran out of steam there. Noiw here's the top thing to say that could get you beat up in a libral arts school, unless you're 6'5" and a little crazy. "I like George W. Bush". That will be all thank you.
