I need a good thunderstorm

...and I don't mean just any thunderstorm. I mean an incredibly strong storm with heavily gusting winds and so much lightning that after the storm is gone...the air is so ionized and clear and fresh...and that moment when the sun peers through the thick desolate clouds...I want to be standing in the middle of that one ray of sunlight...and feel.......free
"I need to get away from college life." I say that a lot...but is anywhere else really that different? Sometimes I doubt that when I see the trials and tribulations of everyday people. I hope there's something more out there than what I'm seeing right now...

another hot day, another late night

Dammit it's hot again...totemo atsu!! I'm having a dilemma. If I leave my door open, the air from outside is blown in by the fan and circulates throughout the room, cooling things down a bunch. On the same note, with the door open I get to hear my drunk housemates stumble into the house with their loud footsteps and incoherent slurring...then again maybe i'll just stay up until they get home...
I'm being dragged off to fencing club practice tomorrow. I know I'm going to be half asleep so I'm preparing myself to be poked at from all directions...must control self and not hurt others

What the hell is going on today?? Isn't it October? It's October in NY and my house was a sauna all day. Can't tell you just how much that sucks. These places have no ventilation.
Been checking out a couple tracks from the Bebop movie album to find....Rain (cathedral song from ep5) sung by the woman who sings it in the episode!!! I'm wondering if this was a courtesy thing or whether they actually use it again in the movie. Other than that, I've heard about 5-7 of the other tracks to find that I now want to see the movie more than ever. Yoko Kanno never ceases to amaze me with her talent. I'd let her arrange the music for my life...
If you could have anybody at all arrange the music soundtrack for your life...who would you choose? (defintely going to go post this in the general forum...) -

I'm starting to think someone very sadistic is pulling the strings of my life. If a problem can occur, it will. Just seems to be my luck lately.
Some good things tho...for about 3 hours last night I didn't feel emotionally alone...Funny that Bebop was the catalyst. EK also brought the Bebop movie soundtrack to my attention...must go out and see if I can find the movie if it's been released yet...
Listening to Ultraspank is very healthy...instead of venting my problems onto other people, I just let them scream their fucking heads off...makes me feel better in some weird way. In about 10 mins I'll probably be listening to Enya or some other spiritual music imagining myself flying off somewhere...such is life...

Time to jump on the bandwagon, but you have been warned...you may see stuff here you didn't care to know or just make you dumber than you were before.
Today shall be an interesting day...what the hell am I talking about, its going to be another pencil tapping, head on hand, eyelids jamming shut day here at Marist College. But maybe tonight will be interesting...not sure if I'm interested in this girl or not, but hell she's coming over to watch Bebop for the first time, so that should score me some points ;-)
I need a job, I have no money...thank god AUSA2k1 is free for me...otherwise I wouldnt be able to go. I don't think I've ever been this broke before. Perhaps it's time to start selling some of my belongings I no longer need...all hail ebay.
I'm off to class and volleyball practice...time to go break something beautiful.
