I am quite depressed right now. I'm back in school from Spring Break and I never feel like doing anything. My life's going to shit. I put in my two weeks yesterday, Monday, so I won't be able to get that hard drive. This equals no Trigun video... I don't know what I'm going to do with my life. I want to go to college in Florida, but that's out of the question. I'll have no money to go there, so I have to go to Pennsylvania's college.
I'm just going through a male period for some reason. Sudden mood swings galore. I think I'll watch Zabet's Grave of the Fireflies video.

Someone kill me. To fix my sleeping schedule, I have to stay up until I get back from work tonight... 35 hours straight. Nothing seems to be interesting anymore. I just feel... dead. More Than Toast is dead, and my buddy list is littered with away messages and idle buddies... After amusing myself by chatting up with two drunk people on AIM, I can't seem to find anything that will hold my attention.
Nonetheless, I sat down and watched episode 5 of Hand Maid May, episode 1 of Scryed, episode 1 of FLCL, episode 1 of GoldenBoy, and 4 Evangelion episodes... I figure I should use my last day of Spring Break wisely before I go to work and hit the sack for the big sleep. Then back to school it is. I feel senioritis setting in already...
I can't do anything with my Trigun video concept until I buy an 80 gig hard drive, and I now have to pay off my Evangelion DVD box set and save up $500. It's gonna be a looooooong while.
And now, back to staring at my desktop and a very dead bjord. -

I gave up on ripping and encoding Trigun with DVD2AVI... Most retarded program ever. It's CREATING dead spots in the episodes that halts the program halfway through every single time. Oh well.
So I'm going to delete the 13 episodes I have actually done so far, and redo it as per Andres' request. He showed me how he made his, and it's great... if you have a bottomless pit of a hard drive. Now I need to buy an 80 gig hard drive. AMV creation sure is costly.
The new technique uses flaskmpeg with huffyuv compression. I'm not going to go into details right now, because I'm lazy. It'll probably be up on my site once it's up.
I just saw Big Big Truck's "Failed Experiments In Video Editing." It's a must see. Great stuff. I laughed my ass off. Also, as an example of the supreme quality my video will be in, download Andres' Trigun video here:

Damn it, my video was taking up too much bandwidth, so Chris took it down. Oh well, I would have too if I were him. Thanks for hosting it for so long, Chris.

I swear, I'm never going to get my damn video even started. I have yet to find a song to go with the idea in my head... I only have 9 Trigun eps ripped. I should be done in about 6 months... -

I liked Rozard's last journal entry, and I decided to bring his prophecy true. Poor bastard.
Anyway, I got the program working and it messed up again... It seems as though I can only use each mode a couple times, as if it's a trial version. Doesn't make any sense. I only have 7 trigun eps ripped... The song I found is pretty good, and it's going to change the concept I had in my head for the video. It's turned from a comedy to a drama/action/character profile.
