I'm not sure whether it's selfish of me to wish I was a big name in the AMV creator community. After seeing Carlos' AX documentary, I feel so small. I almost wish people were like, "Oh, hey, it's Super Sapien! Rock on! So what do you think of the con? What did you think of the AMV contest?" But alas, no one will want to meet me at AWA. I'll be one of those annoying guys that wants to meet people who don't want to meet him. "Oh, hey, it's Tim Park! Oh wait... I'm a nobody... I'll just slink back to the dealer's room..." Lucky fucks. All sitting around a restaurant chatting away... Blah. Yeah, this is me whining.
It's my fault, most likely. If I was more active on the forums... Oh well, who knows. I guess I'll just annoy the toastmasters and Kusoyaro for a bit and walk around aimlessly with Eiji like a loser.
And with SO MANY FRICKIN' PEOPLE at the AX AMV contest (R.I.P.) I can only imagine what it'll be like at AWA. And to tell the truth, it scares me. My videos are going to be the all time low for the contest... -

Things are looking up for me nowadays... WC3 doesn't make me as angry as it used to now that I avoid FFA's as much as possible. I mean, hell, losing is fine with me and I'm used to it. It's just rather unappealing to sit in an empty channel for an hour because Akimbo ran over and massacred my ass 4 minutes into the game. And if I survive until late game, Zabet kills me. The longer a match goes on, the farther behind I get. Although I did just beat Akimbo in a 1 on 1. :)
And now I have a job, it's easy but annoying so far... Once I get past the initial crap of being new and filling out paperwork, taking the drug test, yadda yadda yadda it'll be SO easy, so some employees have told me. There's lots of attractive girls but a guy that works there verified that yes, in fact, they are all 14 and 15. Well I demand that girlfriends be no more than 1 year younger than me and I'll be 18 soon. Oh well.
The Hellsing video is coming along well, but uber-slowly. I might release it... I mean, I hate to do all this work and not have anyone see it. Not every video has to be DVD quality, some of the best AMV's are just average quality. It all depends on how well logoaway got rid of logos and subtitles. It's done well so far, with one questionable scene that I haven't check out yet. And really, the timeline is getting too complicated to completely reproduce once I get the DVD's. I haven't the patience for it. I barely survived the remake of my Jin-Roh video.
Otherwise, I'm just relaxing in the comfortable lap of my best friend, my computer chair. The only thing I'd like to have is some kind of social life. Soon... I have 8 hours left to drive then I get my license. -

...so I wrote in the description of my first video. I put that in there to DETER people from getting it, because the damn video makes me look bad. It's horrible. So what do people do? THEY DOWNLOAD IT! My old video gets 5 downloads a day now that I put that in there and my newer, BETTER one gets maybe one. I should put this in every video description, but I'm afraid that it will have the opposite effect.
Come on guys. What you want is my new Jin-Roh video with Cake's "Friend is a Four Letter Word."
