buy some DVDs and rip them... you will have the bestest footage then :P
if thats too hard then get the amv app:

and use this guide to crop off the subs:

if you are using windows movie maker then crop the subs before you edit... cause Vdub wont import WMV... or you can render as a AVI import to Vdub and then attempt to compress O.o
either way, with such guides at your fingertips on the org, then there is no excuse to have subtitles on your vids... and since i read your profile and you claim to be atleast 15 I'm sure you can easily figure it out...
if your clips arent working in WMM then you are trying to use XVID encoded fansubs O.o try running them through Vdub and changing the codec to one that WILL work in WMM
or just go out and buy MAGIX its cheap and effective.
(especially since on of my 13 yearold friends figured it out fairly quickly O.o) -
