the battle really isnt about WMM... its about his methods.... hes not going to change peoples minds about a program by kicking and screaming like a little kid...
i think you handeled yourself well when defending the program in the mep section when Sailor Earth was rejected for her program.... she shouldnt have been rejected for her program but for her editing skillz... :/
people really shouldnt use it as an excuse... and i usually dont allow people to use it as an excuse to make bad vids.... atleast not on a personal level... because i try to tell them how to fix certain problems they are having, if i know how to do that... i usually try to encourage people to keep trying till they can buy or get a more powerful tool, if thats what they want, but that they can use it while they have it to learn to improve at the very least... because editing talant doesnt dissapear once you get a different program :P
in truth i find myself unable to defend the program because every time it pops up in the forums cornwiggle has been all over it making an ass out of himself before i can even get a word in.... and sadly i dont want to be associated with him so i dont say anything... i did try to tell him the reason it has such a bad rep (because of alot of its users), but he kept getting mad at me and telling me that he's not listening...
I usually recommend it to "n00bs" because its the simplest form of video editor around... O.o when people on youtube ask me what i use i tell them Sony Vegas... and when they get all dissapointed at the price, i usually say "look you got XP? it has Windows Movie Maker.... take some vid and drop it in the time line and see what comes of it... play with it for a bit and figure it out" and i tell them that if they want they should play with wmm till they can get the money to get something else... then i usually recommend MAGIX... because its cheaper than most of the other video editing programs...

I had my issues with the program and thats why i dont use it.... I'ma go out and buy magix now and see how well i do with that :P -

either way, I've wasted enough of my anger here today...
some people are just not worth it, so everything has been privatized, because its just not worth holding on to... (kinda wish i could delete but yea oh well :/ hmmn)
I'm still pissed.... I take some things personally even if others dont.... thats my choice... :P
Either way this day started out bad and it only got worse :/ so, I'm going to go out, perhaps a break from all things retarded will calm me down.... :/
