i usually try to push magix even though i dont use it
1. its cheap,
2. i know of alot of people who make good videos that use it...
O.o I've been thinking of checking it out... but i havent gotten around to actually buying it or even downloading a trial O.o
i used to blame my program when i used WMM because the WMM on my old machine was seriously screwed up... it had so many bugs i wanted to rip my hair out... which is why i didnt stick with it for very long O.o, plus i never liked the "leniar editing deal" i was forced to use, i always wanted to start in the middle or the end of the video first instead of the beginning O.o
I still put warnings on my older vids that say "hay look this shit is old, download at your own risk, they suck hardcore... but if you want to see my suckage, then dl away O.o" (but i dont blame the program, although i do tell what programs i used, but i tell what programs i used for all my videos) if it scares people off then cool, if it doesnt then cool... ive given up on even caring what kind of feedback those videos have anyways...
plus everyone sucks when they first start out... thats a more viable excuse to suck lol than blaming your program O.o... and when it comes to my old videos really, one would think that i know by now that they suck lol, or how to point out all their flaws lol.. hell i can point out all the flaws on my newer videos O.o.
i think some people just enjoy torturing themselves, by watching "bad videos" (that would explain the lastest trend in meps O.o)
but I understand what DJ_ultima is getting at... I'm also tired of people blaming their program for making bad vids... cause they CAN make good vids if they work at it no matter what program they use, sometimes its just hard to reassure some people of that fact O.o, and some people want instant greatness... or atleast to be told that they have talant... but even though someone has talant they still need to keep practicing and working to keep that talant and improve on it..
there are also people who think that drop-in effects from After effects = instant win... but they dont realize that the people who make those after effects videos spend days on their videos to make them look how they look, and that the effects arent all just "drop-in and render" O.o
when people ask me what program i use i tell them, but i also try to give them suggestions on several programs, suggest them to dl the trials and figure out which one they like themselves O.o
