Choppin' down trees...

I'm in the process of making every tree (with the exception of the 30 100-bell bag trees, five bee trees and two furniture trees) in Costello, all fruit trees. If nothing falls from a tree when I shake it, I immediately chop it down and replace it with a fruit tree. I finally found all 30 bell bags yesterday by doing this. And I finally caught 5/5 bees! My previous record was 4/5 and I didn't think I'd be able to beat it. The final bee was in a golden tree. Hey, that rhymes!
I was going to do this for Portland, too, but decided against it. Portland's a three-level town and it would take freaking forever.
Sunday I slept in, but I still wanted to buy turnips so I had to TT backwards. I figure since Nook never spiked in either of my towns for the past two weeks, he has to spike in at least one this week. Crap, I just realized I haven't updated this thing since August 2nd.
Only 3 more days to go before I can get the Aerobics Radio in Costello, that is, if it doesn't rain. In Portland I have 7 more days, since I got kind of lax about it, plus it's been raining a lot.

Shiiiiiitttt... almost a week of no updates...

I haven't really been playing AC all that much this week lately, as I just got a Game Boy Player IRL and have been busy playing Oracle of Seasons on it. I just check turnip prices and get my glowy-spot and red rock every day and check the bulletin board and then save and quit. So I really have no updates except for four or five days worth of turnip prices.
Oh, and speaking of turnip prices, Nook never spiked this week, but I did make a small profit for each town when I sold on Friday (Saturday was the raffle).
I also bought a new memory card IRL in order to do the "travel data" thing, as I am just about as sick of Rover and Blanca as anyone could care to be. Also, so I can do the "make a villager move out that you WANT to move out" trick (which is complicated and which can be found somewhere on the gamefaqs.com Animal Crossing general message board). I want to get Jeremiah and Aurora to move back to Costello. I am a little tempted to do the "double your money" glitch, as well.

It's aerobics month, actually it was from the 25th but I didn't have to do it then, as it was raining in both my towns on that day. So I started on the 26th. They're at 6 am, and I'm Not About to Get Up That Freakin' Early! So I wait until midnight and TT forward so I can get Tortimer to stamp my card.
I decided this week to only spend 549,999 bells on turnips in each of my towns. A million bells per town just takes too long. They were 77 BPT in Costello and 127 BPT (wow!) in Portland. Guess which one I hope spikes this week?
Nothing else really to report. Nobody interesting has come to either town in the past four days, although Katrina's coming to Costello tonight and Gracie's coming to Portland tomorrow. But I have been actively searching for Wisp lately, but only in Costello as it takes too long to find him in Portland. I ALWAYS pick "Give me stuff" after I find all his little ghosty-dudes, as my roof is already the color I want it to be and I can pick weeds myself. He's given me two Gracie shirts, an NES (no game, just the NES console), a cabana armchair, and a goddamn umbrella once. Which I could have sworn I already had! But apparently not, as he only gives you items you don't already have in your catalog.
Some of the August insects are out. I caught a grasshopper this morning and donated it to the museum.

Now I'm up to getting 10K or sometimes 30K bell bags out of the glowy-spot every day now. Hooray! And the villagers will often give me between 4K and 5K for rewards. Just yesterday I did a favor for Sue E, and she gave me over 4,600 bells. I would have taken a screenshot, but my Polaroid Joycam SAID it had one picture remaining but didn't. So I didn't get a shot of that.
Here are some screenshots I took. They're kind of dull color-wise and a little blurry since I couldn't keep the camera perfectly still, and also dark since I used a Polaroid Joycam as previously mentioned. But I got them brightened and sharpened up on the computer as well as I could. These are all for Audrey:

Ah, it's been four days since I updated... I gotta catch up!
On Sunday morning, I bought about a million bells worth of turnips per town. (Meaning I spent a total of about two million bells.) I bought 13,900 turnips in Portland at 70 bpt; and 8900 turnips in Costello at 117 bpt. So I'm really hoping for a spike in Costello this week.
I've been working on Audrey's feng shui. It's pretty good; when I do errands for villagers, I always get more than 1000 bells for a monetary reward even if I just go to one animal to get an item back (often it's more than 2000 bells); and once I got more than 4000 bells for a reward by going to the maximum five animals. Also, I'm getting 10,000 or sometimes 30,000 bells from the glowy-spot every day now. However, I don't always get eight bags from the red rock, as my A button is getting shot (damn Gracie) and sometimes the shovel won't hit the rock when I press the A button. But I do always get at least seven bags. I changed a bunch of stuff around my house so "special" feng shui items are all in the corners, upping my luck, and I bought a bunch of G logos to go in the corners where there weren't any "special" feng shui items.
Today in Costello it must have been Write Letters to Every Single Freaking Villager day. "You need any help?" "Yeah, write me a letter." Jeez! I hate writing letters.
In Portland it was Everybody Forgets Everything Day. Several of my villagers gave me items to give to other villagers. Don't be so damned forgetful.
