Remodeling the house...

Audrey's house, that is. I remodeled her first floor today with the Spooky series, which is cooler than I thought it would look. It has orange feng shui, which goes in the north end of the house, but all ten furniture pieces wouldn't fit up there, so I have some of it in the middle of the room.
I'm planning on changing it sometime after Thanksgiving, when I get the Harvest series.
This should shoot my HRA score up pretty far, too.
Jeremy's just keeping his "fruit" theme for right now.
I have a blank memory card that I use for travel data, and I keep creating temporary towns on it, only to delete them usually in the same day, and often in the same hour. Two of the "tempy-towns" so far have been "island towns," in which there's a small patch of land in the middle of the river, with two bridges connecting the "mainland." One of the "islands" even had a rock in the middle of it.
Rex was in the last "tempy-town" that I created. Too bad it's been deleted, I love Rex. He was my first "favorite" character.

Halloweeeeen!!

Last night was Halloween. It was also one of the busiest days that Audrey's ever spent in Costello, because it was also a raffle day AND it was Sunday so there was turnip trading as well. Jeremy did the raffle and the turnips but after Halloweening (yes, I made up a word) in Costello, I was exhausted, so I just travelled to Oregon to deliver any repeat Spooky furniture that Audrey got. Anyway, I did manage to get the entire Spooky series for Audrey, but Jeremy's still missing the bookcase. Well, there's always next year. Or UCs...
I did have to do a little time-travelling after midnight, keeping the AC clock between 12 and 1 am so I could get all the stuff. At around 3:30 AM real-time, however, I was just too damn sleepy to continue, and all I needed was the lamp, so today when I woke up, I TT'ed back to midnight again to find Jack and see if could get the lamp, after telling my candy code to Nook three times for some extra candy (I only had one piece left). I got another dresser and another wallpaper, and FINALLY with the second-to-last piece of candy I got the Spooky Lamp. It wouldn't have been so bad and probably wouldn't have taken so long if the animals didn't keep accosting me for candy.
Oh, and Oct. 27 was Jeremy's birthday. He has the same birthday as my brother IRL (whose name is not Jeremy, JSYK). All he got were shirts! Oh, and a cake.

It ended yesterday, actually. I didn't even go shroom hunting yesterday; I didn't feel like it.
Cheri moved out of Oregon and Rio moved out of Costello, replaced with Tabby and Carmen, respectively.
I decided to take a break from turnip trading this week. I'm still checking prices though.

'Shrooming Season!

Redd came to Oregon on the 13th, but he didn't have anything that I didn't have already, except a ranch chair, I think.
It's mushroom season! I'm actually cutting down a few trees in each acre (already having the Golden Axe, I'm not concerned with perfect town status) so that they'll be a little less hidden. They're kind of camoflaged (sp?) because the ground is almost the same color as the 'shroom caps. They sell for 5000 bells each and there are five of them, but one disappears every fifteen minutes, starting at 8 am (I usually just TT after midnight the night before). The first day I went 'shroom hunting I found four in Oregon (because I wasted time by walking instead of running, and talking to villagers) and all five in Costello. Not bad for my first time searching for them.
Nook's started to sell candy at his store. I'm stocking up for Halloween!
Katrina's coming to Oregon tonight. Hopefully I won't get the Tripping Curse.

Today was Explorer's Day, and all my characters went and got a bottled ship from Tortimer. Audrey and Jeremy sent theirs to the museum to get the letter back to save in the P.O., and my other two characters in each town both have one in each house (if that makes sense).
Crazy Redd's coming to Oregon on the ... 13th? I wanna say the 13th but my brain is saying "no, it's the 14th." Well, 13th or 14th, he's coming. Please, Redd, have the Dainty and/or Amazing Paintings...
