How to snarl on cue...
2004-06-19 06:29:41
Well, our PC's really on the blink. Now it is not only supporting flash, but is insisting valiantly that quicktime player is not an application, and has deleted the "Format Picture>Layout>Behind/Above text" function. So now I can't move pictures around on MS word. There goes my Art preperation...
Oh, and now we're in the EU constitution. 25 countries, tied into this damn treaty. And one of the few things I was actually looking forward to: a standard European tax rate, has been blocked by Britain. Joy. So they pay less tax than us. We currnetly pay about 82p for a litre of Unleaded petrol. I think the Americans pay the equivilant of 28p. Ah, no matter. This EU thing, I know nearly nothing about it at all. All I know is...
1)It affects the British public a lot.
2)The UK Independence party got a hell of a lot of votes, meaning a lot of people don't like the idea.
3)Tony Blair wants it, so it must be bad. Very bad indeed...

Homework or AMVs? Well...

No real contest, ne?
Those of you who have used the website at all will probably have noticed the new navbar layout. Interesting changes, little more structured I think.
Oh, and now our PC has decided to cease to support Flash and Shockwave. The two most common animation applications out there. <Sniggers>It looks bad for the keep PC for another 2 years policy...
Oh, and my swollen ankle has almost completely gone down now. Still can't do Games or Karate though, which is very annoying...

Expanding horizons

What the heck are "Journal Buddies"? And is the Chat room supposed to be so...rubbish (No offence intended)? And why am I still hungry? I need to write more next time...

One week, and all this happens!?
2004-06-11 12:32:22
Well, Phade is going. I only just joined this year, so I can't pretend to fully appreiciate his work. However, I am under the assumption he made this site, and so I'm greatful. Good luck with the family!
No, pull away from the insane illusion of him reading this. I couldn't go on the PC because:
1)School exam week.
2)Mum's school report writing time...
So, I have missed a lot. Still, all that revision paid off. Two results so far, and both were A's. My french teacher was invigilating the History exam, and he sat directly in front of me and started to mark my test. <Sobs>

France: a world of pet-carrying french people...
2004-06-06 07:22:33
I went to France for the day yesterday! I walked aound Boulogne for about 7 hours on my ankle, and it didn't hurt much! Plus I got to eat seafood platter, with lots of different types of shrimp. And oysters, whelks and tiger prawns. I wanted to see if they had any french anime books for "revision", but all I could find was an Asterix-style egyptian comic called Papyrus. Looked quite good actually...
Oh, and the amount of people carrying dogs/cats was amazing. The pets all looked very unhappy, and one cat managed to escape, and run out of "la Hypermarché". Sells everything from food to garden furniature. I bought brioche. ^_^
