- Now it...begins. 2004-04-13 13:54:40 Well, I have successfully outlined the parameters for my first AMV. Footage, check. Idea, check. Software source, check. Funds for software...err...not. I have to save up £75 with an allowance of £10 per week. Not good. Still, should only be a matter of time before my site is up and running! Only that it costs £37 p.a. for a decent domain host...And no matter what people may say about freewebs giving unlimited bandwidth, and 500Mb storage, I'm not falling for that. It probably has no back-up help whatsoever. Or it's run by one of my geography teachers. Or David Blunket.

Well, I've just bought the 2 CCS movies from eBay, thus completeing the collection (Apart from the OVAs...). Therefore, I now have all the stuff I need to make a reliatively decent AMV. Apart from the software. Still, I know where to get a DVD ripper, and the movie creation software shouldn't be too hard to find. Hopefully.
Hmm...The size and consistency of these entries are dwindling. Unfortunately, I'm spending a lot of time off the Pc, it being half term. Thankfully, I'm going to attempt to get my website online soon, with a CCS transcript project! Fun!

Ads of late the main search topic for me has been codecs. I've downloaded two videos that require the standard WMV codec, which, inevitably, our computer does not support. I can't actually find a supplier...
Also, my cousin introduced me to the Beetlejuice theme...Maybe when I finally find the required software to make a video I'll base on on that. What sort of software is used for video creation anyway?
Oh, and I got a lot of eggs. Chocolate is good for you in small amounts, so I'm going to eat until I feel like I'm going to be ill. Heh...Who said metabolistic research proves consuming your density in food is impossible? -

Dad has almost finished kitchen, this will release the strain on the household's tissue hoard (Stupid dust allergy...).
Oh, and sorry about the rubbishness (???) of the last entry. I'll try and make things less rubbish from now on. Oh, and this is now officially one of the shortest piece of writing I've ever done...
Random fact of the day: 'Wronger' is technically a real word, as long as it's used as a gerund when describing something...

Oh. Sorry. Anyway, haven't done much apart from play on HM, but my website is now well on the final stages. I'm thinking of doing a Cardcaptor Sakura Transcript, but I'll probably do that on a free hosting domain, and the main one on a ".co.uk" address. So, now I just need to find £37.99 for the annual hosting fee...
