Transitions using Adobe

This is soooo hard to come up and find out how to work some of these transitions.
i would like to know how to put a picture in a picture format for my vid but can't discover the secret and also I would love to know how to put font overlaying the clip but again I am clueless.
Then i would DIE to know the secret at whcih to make cigaret burns on the film or making it go all crazy with theater film type of look.
Oh boy WOULKD SOMEONE please make a guide to ADOBE TRANSITIONS!

I need a capture card soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
bad!
I'm using clips from TV shows I downlod and you have no idea how bad I feel when I wait for like FIVE HOURS to a day to have a episode/Movie to download then it turns out that its terrible quality and I feel like crying!
I have so far been recycing the same two and three mopvies of DBZ with Openings of shows and clips fromn shows to make a half decent video of course it is very pain staking....
I feel as though it will take me like A MONTH JUSt to find the clips and then another month to downlaod them and then a month (*a fun month but still a month) to recycle and finish the music videos to perfection.
Now of course I have to slowly save up to buy one but I have run into another small snag HOW MUCH ARE THEY?
I have no clue and for the life of me I dont really wanna go theree with a 50$ bill and say One Capture Card please and then hand it to them and they laugh in my face since its like One BILLION DOLLARS!

Hmmm......I wonder does anyone livge in Canada and knows where and how much they got it for.
It would be much appreciated advice.

Hmmmm probably the most arguable concept at most anime sites..
I say that anime is more of a moodtelevision.
Like think about it if your pissed off or depressed your not going to watch the crazy antics or Tenchi and the gang or Sailormoon you'll wanna watch something that suits your mood like Lain or maybe even Perfect Blue.
Then if your excited DBZ is good and so is good old Outlaw Star,Evangelion,Trigun and alas even good old Street Fighter/tekken will do the job.
Then of course if your feelingy Happy go lucky watch some SAMURAI PIZZA CATS!! WAhoooo! What the hell ever happened to that show anyways? WE didn't EVEN GET A GOOD FINALE!! WHAT THE ^@!)^&#$)@%&$%^!
oh welll send some comments if you sahre the same type of ideas about anime!

Has anyone else noticed how many women are getting involved in Video Editing?
It's good don't get me wrong ladies and gents I just noticed it and relized how cool it is that females are taking an interest to editing aswell.
It seems we get more of a beauty and love kind of connection at first sight from the ladies but then I have lately been noticing that most of chicks making the videos are more Hardcore then us men!
I mean Blood and Guts spewing everywhere and death and destreuction and then I have seen some of the most heart wrenching videos from MEN!
Like take for instance the Video Try by Aluminum Studios.
The video is so sad and shows the sadness that occurs in Serial Experiments Lain just like his other Videos Desert Rose and Torn.
I just recently downloaded one hell of a fight scene DBZ video and I was almost certain a Man had made it do to the extent of the fighting but it turned out a female and not just a female but a cheerleader made that video!
