Samurai X OVA and Evanescence's - Away From Me
Surprisingly no one has made it even though both the anime and the artist are very common. The lyrics are perfect. I can see it...unfortunately, what I see is that damn piano effect I can't do *dies* ....maybe I should break down and get premiere....actually I'm in need of a new PC first, mine's going on about 5 years old and the monitor is breaking down...it takes about an hour for lines to go away :P Even then, I can't justify getting Premiere with the little time I have to spend on AMVs...oh dilemmas dilemmas....ANyway, now I have 4 AMVs in my "to be made/completed" file....man this list is getting long... -

Went to the Filipino festival yesterday...man I've never seen so many police patroling a festival ever :P lol. I think they were like looking out for gangs or something.
Anyway, it was okay. Way toooo hot. And I didn't bring the umbrella. So now I've got a tan that includes my bag strap :P
The food was pretty good, but every vendor sold the same stuff...wish there had been a little more variety.
The entertainment was okay, but seeing as I didn't stay all day I can't really say. The Freddie Aguilar of the US that played was really good...he actually made me cry. Maybe I'm just emotional, but he made me miss my homeland....I really want to go home....
Oh! And I couldn't believe it! They played the Philippine national anthem as background music! Insulting.I noticed only a few old people actually stand up and show some respect.
All the clothes, mainly tshirts and tanktops were really cool. lol. I spent most of my money on a few shirts with tagalog slogans, then just looked longingly at the rest. Jeepney brand is just sweet but they looked too small for my full figure :P
Kids played some games. My daughter became a "Western Union Super Hero" whoot! lol. -

I noticed that when I make an AMV I get all hyped up on making them I become a fountain of ideas and voila! I make 2! :P
lol. Well, with Sunshine hot off the HD I've started work on a new one...I'm just so stuck on the other two I have going. It's Gunslinger Girl to a Tori Amos song.
I spent all night lastnight finishing editing the song, At almost 6 minutes it was way too long for the one episode footage I had in mind. It's awesome you can't tell I spliced it up! Moved lyrics around, took some out, I'm amazed anyway.
Today I spent most of the afternoon and until now getting the Gunslinger Girl footage onto the PC.
Tomorrow I guess I'll fix the footage in my Ulead Video Studio 8. Like splitting thigns up ans whatnot so when I finally sit down to put this thing together it'll be smoother sailing than having to wait half an hour just to fix things here and there.
Wish me luck and that I don't get bored and move on, cos I have a really good feeling about this one! I might even try and do that piano effect I'm so in love with! Maybe..... -

I've got my new AMV uploaded. I got it down to 25mb. Major accomplishment for me. :P Please go check it out. For some reason I didn't even notice it go on the new AMV thingie on the side. :( Sucks cos that's usually how I download new AMVs, it's good exposure, and I didn't get any! waaahhH!!! humph, oh well...27 people have found it....or rather 9 :P lol Those are how many have downloaded it.
Scary update: My HD is screwing with me! I try and get into my folder on my external main super drive and the window closes! I'm gonna die if I lose everything there...I mean it's got everything....from my movies, music, pictures, docs, AMV projects, everything...........I'm gonna die.....
