Ling 1 Final in about an hour, Calc final tomorrow, and then SPRING BREAK!!! ^L^
I'm about 61% done with my first video; I finished doing the chorus and 1/2 of 2nd set of verses this weekend. Maybe I should start working on a logo for my pseudo-studio...
I saw a $50 2.1MP digital camera in the school classifieds today and I think I might buy it. I'm wanted a digital camera for a while since I'm tired of buying disposable and then getting them developed and half of them not coming out. The one good thing about physical film cameras is that you get negatives; with digital, you could delete it and it's gone forever.
Now I have to go and buy a single Scantron from the bookstore.

I fear I might get a D (or worse, fail) in calculus this quarter. If I am lucky and do pass, I'll most likely have to retake both 21A and 21B for a higher grade to meet the degree requirements for my major(s), whatever they end up being. On a good note, my scheduling of classes for spring quarter went off without a hitch. Spring Break is still a month away, though...arrgh!
This afternoon, my family's getting a DVR from Comcast. I can't wait to play around with the menus and explore the On Demand channels. Also, I'm trying to get myself to write more opinions to AMV's I've seen and it seems like a backlog of about 75-80 on which to opinionate. -

I'm 1/3 done with my first AMV attempt with Windows Movie Maker. Hopefully, when I'm done, I can properly compress the file to an appropriate size so it isn't 200 MB for 3 minutes of video. That's insane.
Last week, I had 2 midterms. I did so-so on one and don't know on the other. Next midterm is in 2 weeks so hopefully I can study properly for that one.
Besides that, I am of good health and learning new Photoshop tricks by messing around with it. Oh yeah, and my Communicating with Japanese class is awesome. Too bad it's only one unit. :(
Anyway, back to linguistics homework. Ja ne! ^L^ -

I'm starting to use Windows Movie Maker to make stuff , like little 1-2 min things. Next up is for me to attempt a video with MM, which requires a lot less memory than Premiere. When an entry shows up in my profile under "My Videos", you'll know I'm done. Maybe I should do a collage of songs...
Anyway, school is rolling along at the pace of a banana slug. (Little joke because I was accepted at UCSB as well as UCD.) I have Chem. lecture tomorrow at 7:30am and have to find more DVD+RW's for anime storage. Cool thing I found out today was that the post-lab reports for Chem are done online, which means no more typing of 5-page postlabs! ^L^

I'm back at Davis and received many syllabi for winter quarter. Found a couple of DVD to AVI/MPEG programs so I'm going to try to work on video this weekend (not likely though). Currently enjoying Coheed & Cambria's "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3". Going to rain until Sunday. Realized I forgot subjects for the past couple sentences. Whatever.
