I have 7 days of Spring Break and what am I doing? Sitting at home and watching Anime On Demand. ^L^;; So far, I've watched Gravitation ep. 1 & 2, Kare Kano Ep. 2, Boogiepop Phantom Ep. 1. Interesting that all three of those series are been distributed by TRSI. Hmm. Anyway, hope to watch Desert Punk 1&2 sometime in this next week as well.
I also got the Case Closed first nine episodes on DVD and am watching to them in Japanese while making mental notes of possible pieces of footage for a video I'm planning. Finished disc 1 (Ep 1-4) last night and going to watch disc 2 (Ep 5-9) today/tomorrow. One thing I realized while hearing the original Japanese audio, and which I confirmed soon after online, is that Genta is voiced by the same guy who did Soga in "Tenshi na Konamaiki" (Cheeky Angel), a series we are finishing in DAC this next quarter! Wataru Takagi has an amazing comedic voice. It was a pleasant surprise, akin to the same woman doing Hitsugaya in Bleach and Ed in FMA, Romi Paku.
I also also trying to consolidate my fansubs from CDs to DVDs since it takes 6-7 CDs to hold a 24-26 episode series that would take only 1 DVD! Certainly a space saver, but it involves a slighty complicated process because of my laptop's disk space issue. AARGH, this will be so much easier when I find a cheap external drive!
P.S. A funny thought came to me when watching a taped episode of Evangelion yesterday. What's the point of going to school when you are in a makeshift city (Tokyo-3) and know the end is coming soon? It doesn't seem to make sense. I'm coming to like Asuka even though she's now suffering through psychological issues. Maybe it's because she is arrogant, maybe it's because she's German, but she and Ritsuko are most likely my favorite characters of the show. -

There's a little under two weeks until the end of winter quarter and I'm hoping to get my game on as well as some video editing during spring break. This past week was a tough one because I had 3 papers due. But I did pickup a used cartridge of Jet Force Gemini for N64 that I'm itching to play; it was only $2.99 at one of the few Gamestops that still sell cartridges.
I'm waiting on a cheap hard drive & enclosure (pref. under $90-100 including any shipping) before ripping footage from my DVDs. I'm thinking about releasing a Mahoraba-based "Anime Lesson", making it the third in the series. I'm also thinking of doing other video projects in the interim.

During ADV's Holiday Clearance Sale, I picked up 2 Azumanga DVDs for $7 each and also got sent a free random DVD. That free one turned out to be the Golden Boy Essential Anime Collection. Cool thing about it is that the value of the free DVD was about the same as the entire order including shipping (just about $20). I have to find time to watch it since school started again and I have papers in three of my classes this quarter. u_u
I recently got through the mail two CDs: "Speak for Yourself" (from Imogen Heap) and "Twin Cinema" (The New Pornographers). Along with the Panic! At the Disco album and the re-mastered "Mass Romantic" I got at Tower last week, that's 4 CDs in the past 2 weeks and probably 8 in the last three. That's a lot of music!
Should probably go to bed now; I have class at 9am tomorrow. -

I ended up moving my studio's website away from freewebtown and toward comcast account. Eventually I want my own domain but I want to wait until I produce enough works to flesh it out somewhat.
I picked up some CDs during winter break that are gave me new ideas for projects. Two caveats, though: I need the source material (actual anime DVDs) and I also need to get that external hard drive to relieve storage stress on my laptop hardware. I want to sometime this summer upgrade to 1 gig of RAM, too.
Arrgh, so many things I want to do and so little money...
I AM proud of myself on creating a Worthy banner on my first try in what must have been months. ^L^

Back in school and trying to keep cool.

College has kept me busy so I'm still in the "planning" stage of my Lain AMV. Argh.
Meanwhile, I've found Blood+ to replace Speed Grapher (which ended weeks ago). I also finished BECK & Emma the past two weeks. So, in summary (sort of), I'm still watching Bleach, Zettai Shonen, s-CRY-ed, Champloo and GitS (when the episodes air on Adult Swim), Gokujo Setokai, and Futakoi Alternative. And I'm planning to start watching Eva on AS on Thursday nights (taping them, of course). And I still have yet to watch the last 16 eps of Witch Hunter Robin. I have NO excuse if I say "I have nothing to watch".
To top that backlog, I have 4-5 TV shows I'm actively watching this season:
Arrested Development, CSI, The Office, Family Guy, and Prison Break.
*sigh* But my focus will (or at least be) on my studies.
