  • It's actually turning out^_^ 2002-09-14 18:47:12 Previously I have thought that my current video project has crashed and burned, but now after some more hours of work, it's starting to look better in my mind. I don't know how to compare it to my other videos yet, I'll have to see what it looks like when it's done, but I'm finally getting into it and enjoying making it^_^ I just hope it will turn out like I want it to in the end...

    My computer is not appreciating having to deal with all 26 Escaflowne vob files and the movie. It insists on mutilating any files I try to export. I already had to restart the computer once today to get it to work right. I'll probably have to again but oh well... at least Premiere isn't crashing, other than the export problems, it just takes a looooong time to load my projects. But I can live with it^_^ 
  • Not doing too much video-wise... yet... 2002-09-10 21:39:48 I'd started a Escaflowne video a little while ago... I only did about twenty seconds of it but I don't really like how it's turning out. To me it just kind of seems like they're nothing there... just some syncing and the scenes look almost random... I think I might give it up or I might wait until I'm in the mood to work on that type of video and do it all over again. I'll see...

    But for the time being I have a different Escaflowne idea that I think will actually work. I'm still in the planning stage, so I'll see how that turns out too. I need a few more ideas before I start.  
  • HA! 2002-08-30 19:34:20 I have managed to fix Premiere so that it opens again! It was really weird because yesterday 6.0 just decided it would show its logo for two seconds before shutting down whenever I tried to open it. I said "ah! It never did that before!" and the first thing I did was try and reinstall Premiere because that was what fixed it when I've had problems sort of similar to this.
    It did not work. I started panicking. I reinstalled it another two times and tried various things that were suggested on the adobe.com troubleshooting page. It still wouldn't work. Then my mom asked me if I'd installed all the updates for Premiere. I hadn't really thought of that before because I'd installed them all before when I'd first got the program. Then I realized the updates probably got deleted when I uninstalled the program.
    So I reinstalled the updates and it worked again. I felt stupid and happy at the same time^_^

    So now Premiere works again. :D

    I get to go pick up my Escaflowne and Shamanic Princess DVDs at the post office tomorrow^_^ It took them about two weeks and a day to get here. Not bad; Amazon took about the same amount of time when I ordered from them.

    Now there's just the issue of finding a way to get all the Escaflowne vob's on the computer with the amount of space we have...
