To celebrate the end of school and end of exams, I am finally writing my first journal entry. SUMMER!!! Weeeee!
I got my new computer last Wednesday. It's set up on a network connection with my old computer so I can put gigs of videos on the new one and watch them on the old one! The computer's all black and silver and shiny and the monitor's really good so the videos look as sharp and clear as ever. I now have 120 GB of space rather than the 12 GB of space on the old one. I have a DVD-ROM and can use it to rip anime footage. Best of all though, is the surround sound system (perfect for watching Odorikuruu!).
I don't have a new program as of yet, but I expect to get Premiere very soon. I might even get it tomorrow.... yes!
My next video, which will be my first video using anime footage, is now thoroughly planned. I'd started planning sometime last month, after I watched the Ah! My Goddess movie and my older sister suggested a song to me that I thought fit perfectly for the video. I listened to the song at last three hundred times. I copied down the lyrics and the times they come in at so I know exactly where everything is. I have the entire video pictured in my head whenever I listen to it.....
I started to do a rough draft with my cheapy and frustrating Pinnacle Studio program but couldn't do exactly what I wanted. I want zoom effects and overalys, which Pinncale cannot do. After I get Premiere, I don't think I'll sleep:)
Expect my very best video out of this future project.
And no, I'm not going to tell you what song I'm using until I release it:) But it's a song no one's every used before, and it's not going to be an average Ah! My Goddess video, that is if it turns out like I planned it:)
