JOURNAL: Taleron (Taleron )

  • @wee. 2001-11-08 12:04:19 Pshew. Finally settled back down into a normal little wuff again. Now maybe I can get back to ripping and laying down more video, if I'm not interrupted again.

    I wish I had a copy of Wicked City. I have a very surreal idea, but I can't even download the sucker. I don't care for the anime much either, but I have yet to see an anime without SOME fans. It wasn't THAT bad, either. Ah well, guess I'll have to find someone who can encode it offa VHS for me. >.<
  • Oh wee. 2001-11-07 09:14:24 I got a lovely message today from a user about "THE FACT THAT IT IS NOT ABLE BEING DOWNLOADED" or something just put me in a bad mood, so I'm going to rant. Because this is my journal, because he pissed me off, and because, well, I'm gonna unload. *ka-chk*

    <RANT>

    Ahem. Please note.

    Videos can be posted if footage has been laid down for them. As I take _time_ on my videos because I want them to look _good_, I post a video because I am currently working on it.

    Just because I don't turn out worthless Dragonball Z crap in 12 hours doesn't give you the right to assume that I'm posting videos without working on them. I will have you know that the three videos I have posted are all ones I am working on currently, and have taken considerable time on to make well. This is ESPECIALLY true for the Evangelion video, because even though I'm not a fan of the series, I would like the video to be something fans of Eva would very much like to see.

    If all you would like to do is make terrible rude rants and attacks towards me, go ahead. You're not the first person to view the post, but you're the only one who's had a problem, mostly because I feel the people here at amvs.org have some common sense and _decency_. I would like to believe that when they see a video not available yet, they say to themselves, "That's a cool idea, I can't wait to see that one when it gets done. They must be spending a lot of time on it." Please don't make me think the majority of users think of crap like this.

    I'm here to make videos people will enjoy. I'm not here to fight with anyone, hoard video titles (I have over 30 ideas, you don't see me posting every one), and least of all, I'm not here to bitch and rant at every user because they put "No" next to their video. I have common sense. I can believe that they're working hard on their video, and they don't want their hard work to go to waste.

    Now, shut up, take that finger you were pointing at me and shove it straight back up where the sun don't shine, 'cause you're full of shit and I don't need it spilling out all over the place.

    </RANT>

    When I have to make a reply like that, I don't feel good. Maybe because it makes me sick to know that there are worse people out there than the ones that think AOL has its own language. I used a lot of big words in there, so Seth, yes, you, the one who posted that little snippet that caused this rant, "U R DUM". There. Plain and simple, maybe I'll get my point across, especially if I put it in some context that even he can understand.

    Now I feel a little peeved off. I wish I could expect some sympathetic emails to make me think contrary to what this jackass says, but I'm not. I haven't ever gotten an email from anyone here at amvs.org, unless it's asking to download a past video that isn't widely available. That's okay by all means; I just feel angry that someone had the gall to attack me, that he most likely attacked other people, and that I now have this mess sitting in my critique list under what is going to be one of my favorite videos once I have it finished. Thanks a lot, asshole, you really made my day bright. You're so fucking considerate.

    Angrily,

    Taleron
  • Bwee. 2001-10-01 23:41:58 Bwee! Is my journal. This is freaky..or something.

    Blah, anyway. AMVs, AMVs, school, AMVs...waitasec, schoo? Yeh, yeh, sucks, I know. But I'm on academic probation, so I can't screw up this semester. And I'm still ripping Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, AND looking for a good 40GB hard drive somewhere. I think I know where to get one, now it's just up to moneh...

    Oh yes, and I got to see Odyssey, the new expansion for Magic: the Gathering. My friend, a card shop owner, was kind enough to let another of my friends buy a box BEFORE the prerelease even so I could see the new cards. They have 4 new squirrel cards. Oh hell yes. Fav card in the set is already one called "Nut Collector". Even love the name. Fav quote is at the bottom of my entry. Sometimes it's great to have such an awesome friend with the coolest job, IMO. :D

    Anyway, I should be doing an Akira video sometime, having finally downloaded the movie (I dun like the film enough to buy it if all I'm gonna use it for is AMVs). Until then, ciao.
