Death in a playplace

first I must confess something... When I was younger my parents used to always 'get after me' (which usually meant the paddle...) cuz I was one of those kids that would NEVER stop moving. Growing up (to avoid the paddle...) I'd simply changed... but not for the better I'm afraid. Now instead of physically never stop moving, I MENTALLY never stop.... unless I knock my brain out that is. THAT is probably the biggest reason I am an amv editor. To take out my frustrations from a misdirected childhood lol.
k so I came up with this idea, writen down here, cuz I KNOW I'd forget about it once I wake up -_-.
K so this came to me sort of as a game demo... or just an abbreviated dream if you will. I imagine one of those playplaces, you know, with those ball pits and a slide going into it?? Well my brain was going over (for some reason... I guess it was the lowest common evil...) why little kids always go 'hey mommy, look at me!' just before they jump into the pit!! THAN! In a fit of creativity that would make Godix proud I thought... it must be so their parents know where to look if they get lost. Did they outlaw those EVIL pieces of equipment yet?? So I thought, yeah, that's even scary for adults... and the game started.
Well, as most demos start, this demo didn't quite start at the beginning (... well it COULD be the beginning, you don't have your BFG MEGAblaster yet! *snort*). It begins and your running down this structure... looks sorta' like the Sector 7 leg that blows up in FF7, or a better (non-geeky -_-) example would be the eiffel tower with more INEXPLAINABLE accessory's and obstacles akin to a giant power transformer tower thing... or an adult playplace! (complete with pornographic posters!!) So there's certain places you just couldn't go yet so the only place you could go is down this chute (too old for slides... besides we're all ninjas! chutes are just grown up slides when you stick to walls!!) that leads to this MASSIVE ball pit. Good thing about ball pits is you can sink into them and just about NEVER come up. So this game starts with an fmv of you (a ninja) jumping down a GIGANTIC chute into this ball pit. BUT! Right at the bottom of this chute you stop, wave your hands around, and try to get the attention of your mom... who's apparently chasing you down this tower... So yeah.. once you do you jump in and start across. Well things happen such as- out of nowhere (remember you can COMPLETELEY conceal yourself in ball pits) these two ninjas jump out! But of course your like Ninja Gaiden (for Xbox) pimped out guy, so you do a double jump/ dash thing like NG and totally demolish these guys before they even hit the floor. Anyway this is actually the LAST encounter of the level, it is replayed in an FMV JUST before the boss guy emerges (from out of this MASSIVELY deep ball pit!) only it's from third person, specifically your mommy's eyes ;p She sees you jump up and dash right through those 2 bodyguards, your blade slicing them in two as it forms a rain of blood Ninja Scroll style (... or Rocky Horror Picture Show if you need another geek reference...), the camera pans to right in front of you as you give a dramatic pose amidst the rain of blood -_-. well anyway the boss guy comes (still in the prescripted fmv) and... you lose! He ends up fulfilling your WORST nightmare, barreling under the balls again... out of nowhere you feel something tugging at your legs, you squirm, stab your sword downward, but... alas... he's already gone... along with your legs. So your there in a pool of blood (bloody balls...) and you slowly sink down, never to be found as you bleed to death.
OK! at this time I woke up! In a cold sweat. But I told you, my brain never QUITS! So then my brain than imagines a fade to white (not black now, white) and all of a sudden it's Quantum Leap. SO! for some reason I find myself in a Cleveland Indians minor league game (major league the movie -> minor leagues?? get it?? *snort* apparently my brain did) on the on deck circle.
I'm like (as any QL geek would) 'AAAAAl, help me out here!!'
Well Al shows up with his speak and spell and *beep bop boop* and a few bangs on the speak and spell he says 'Ziggy won't tell me a thing! just do your thing, go up there and strike out, we'll figure out what happened after that.'
You walk up and for some reason you have this feeling you MUST swing. You do and hit it out, HR. Not only is it a HR, but it turns out it's a GAME WINNING WALKOFF HR (of coarse). Not only that, but once you round the bases your team BURYS you like you just won the World Series! Well you did! (the college World Series) OK so after this, in the post game celebration I guess, Ziggy the overbearing calculator comes up with some answers.
Al says 'OK, Ziggy says your here to stop a murder'

Your friends than toss your ninja uniform at you and want to go crazy with you tonight.
Blah blah blah so in the end you face the fact that there's nothing that's gonna stop you from succuming to the MASSIVE (ly jealous apparently, cuz you hit that hr that sunk his team...) ball pit. NOTHING. So pretty much the same thing happens only THIS time you get your mom to REALLY pay attention to you.... so you don't bleed to death -_-

.... no, if only I had the time to lol. BUT! I'll tell you what I'll do! I'll dedicate EVERY AMV I do after this Valentines MEP TO the missing plushy ;p may it find it's way home before it's filling gets all crumbly... - 2007-02-08 18:18:23 hmm... acturally I did the hard work day before yesterday... I don't know what I was fretting about. /amv procrastination.
