sKy's journal entry reminds me of a room a museum had near my old town . It was sort of a planetarium... only without seats. So let me explain this. ok it's a small little (I'd guess it's little) room at the end of this tour. when I came up to it, it was simply a dark doorway with light peering out of the corner. It basically just looked like the exit as, as I said, it's at the end, you don't see passed the doorway as the entrance is shaped like an 'L'. So I just waltz in there expecting to get 'out' and boy did I EVER. turns out the floor is made of glass and I don't know, but the whole ROOM is probably made of glass (with magnifying lenses to make optical illusions...) so as glass is cold it actually feels like your outside. You waltz in and all of a sudden you're hovering in a HUGE (again it looks 100x HUGER as the magnifying lenses do a good job at making visual illusions) planetarium type scene. sort of akin to the FF7 scene only nothing is moving and... there's nothing for you to STAND on.
When I walked into that my knees SERIOUSLY buckled I mean I was STUCK to the floor, crawling on my hands and knees. Awesome experience and probably just the type you need.
Now if I can get a little bit religious, my advise is to not only go camping, like Warheart said, but go on a church camp. If there are none for your age group (which there probably is, I grew up in a church camp, I know there is), volunteer to be a counselor! OK that's all I got to say about that... - I read the Jourbals 2007-03-12 18:45:48 Only today, I was shopping for my *FIRST* cellphone! Yes, growing up in rural Hawaii doesn't do much for your connectivity. I'd always wanted a ringtone for my parents that goes like the Emperial Death March...
