Gets an honorary seal of approval. While the first half was very raunchy (not too mention the dub), the second half really made me laugh, I mean honestly, not the stupid kind of laugh. And that's something I'd not done in a LONG time.
Even the dub improved a million percent from episode 5 till the end of the series. - Yeah I know it's REALLY immature but... 2007-05-07 14:50:28 I couldn't resist... BEN SANDWICH!!!!

Huffy vs. Lagarith

I recently did a quick (unscientific cuz that's the only way I know how...) comparison of the two codecs. One is a clever play of words (HuffYUV or Huffy!!) the other one just sounds like a fatal disease (My doctor diagnosed me with chronic lagarith and gave me 4 months to live!!).
How's that for unscientific?? ;p no.... If you read the old guides than you'd know Huffy is bigger. Only roughly 1/3 bigger. So say a huffy clip is 600 megs, a lagarith clip of the same thing would be about 450 megs. BUT I still prefer huffy. I took an eye test on the two... I couldn't tell any difference. But I also noted the amount of resources used when encoding a huffy/ lag clip. It took 2x as many clock cycles just to spit it out in Lagarith ! So with that you'd figure it'd be faster right?? Nope. took 2x as long in lag too (and that's WITH clicking the use multiple cores button)!!
Bah, I still greatly prefer Huffy. -
