Just got done fooling around with the surround sound earphones I just bought, along with the pair of speakers I picked up just... to hope for a miracle ;p. Anyway, as always, cheap speakers are just that... cheap. BUT I have some good news (Other than the Holiday Inn thing...), surround sound (5.1) headphones aren't just a gimmick!! They're an EXPENSIVE gimmick! ;p. If it wasn't for higher quality codecs only attainable with 5.1 and larger speaker combinations I'd suggest you go for better quality speakers (given the space along with the proper permisions of coarse) over these just yet. Meaning, if you have a 5.1 set already, don't even think about it. most music (and amvs) are just stereo anyway, and like I said, these speaker quality (and I'm sure the quality of most if not all surround earphones) SUCKS, when you don't have the higher bitrate (or hz... but hz is to audio as bitrate is to video, so just call it bitrate ;p) of Dolby digital, for instance in games or movies, you REALLY start to hate life.
To sum up this rant. I finaly figured out what significance multispeaker sets really HAVE. I had always thought I was missing something, cuz all it seemed like, whenever I got a bigger set of speakers, it just seemed like thing got LOUDER. I was expecting more (promises of people sneaking up behind me floated in my head~~)! Like maybe I was just setting them up wrong. Nope. I did guude! It just is supposed to get LOUDER in most things. It's really stupid. All those 'impulse buys' I really should learn to save my money and just buy something good.. good 2.1s (good 2 peace speakers aren't possible for the consumer imo. There ARE good theater level 2 peice systems... if you got a $200 soundcard and a $100 amp etc...)
Anyways. Oh! my other 2.1 set just got delivered ;p YAY! ;p lol. Along with the 2.1 set I have, the 2.1 set that came in yesterday and the one today lol. I should just setup shop here lol. (but I plan to sell a computer and give one away in the next few months... along with the one I use. I just won't buy speakers for a bit) -

you know... I really surprise myself sometimes. Pirates 3 has a segment with Jack Sparrow talking to himself. *I* started that. No, I probably didn't. Somebody like Gene Autry (whatsisname) dancing with himself or Eddie Murphy in 'Coming To America' (before 'Nutty Professor'), but AT LEAST I can say I did it before HIM.... and Saturday Night Live. I did it waaay back in '98 when I used to chat with myself using two screen names. (no, you can't do that in irc *sigh* I already checked... it logs your ip).
That and the 'NINE THOUSAND!!!' thing... I'm pretty sure he got it from me ;D
now off to start another trend... any ideas??

Kinda' pisses me off that whenever I go out to the bus stop, the bus always comes once I get to the crosswalk! Seriously. Happened a few times the past few weeks, but NOW I'm getting REALLY annoyed. Happened 5 out of 6 times yesterday (and 7 out of 9 times this week)!! No, I don't follow a schedule and try to get there RIGHT on time. I go out there when I'm ready to go.
Ok, 5 out of 6 times. The one other time was cuz I lucked out and the light changed just before the bus hit the intersection, so it didn't REALLY count, ne?? I DID catch it -_- the bus driver didn't look all too pleased. I swear these guys must do these things on purpose. Yep, see somebody (with a schoolbag that's OBVIOUSLY catching the bus) on the other side of the intersection, that means SPEED through the yellow light!! Works every time.
Only thing keeping me sane is that the bus comes once every 20 minutes.
