I was watching an episode of Scrubs (a medical comedy my roommate likes) and they were all worried about this kid that had Autism. And I'm like... OH?? so autism is bad now?? I thought Napolean Dynamite was supposed to be FUNNY not disturbing (I found it disturbing... yeah sure, pick on the autistic kid). I REALLY hate the media.
So I looked up autism... cuz... I'd always had an inclination I was slightly autistic. Funny thing is, it's never bothered me! In fact I'm KNOWN to be autistic, random, eccentric, whatever you wanna call it, I'd rather not change that.
BTW my favorite computer program is AUDACITY ;p. How's that for AUTISTIC/ random ;p.
here's the main 'characteristics' for autism
'Although people with autism usually appear physically normal, unusual repetitive motions, known as self-stimulation or "stimming," may set them apart. These behaviors might be extreme or subtle. Some children and older individuals spend a lot of time repeatedly flapping their arms or wiggling their toes, others suddenly freeze in position. Some spend hours arranging objects in a certain way rather than engaging in pretend play as a typical child might, and becoming agitated if they are re-arranged or moved. Repetitive behaviors can also extend into the spoken word; perseveration of a single word or phrase can also become a part of the child's daily routine. Some may repeat words from movies and watch certain bits over and over again.[42][43] Autistic children may demand consistency in their environment. A slight change in the timing, format or route of a routine or trip can be extremely disturbing to them.[citation needed]. Autistics sometimes have persistent, intense preoccupations. For example, the child might be obsessed with learning all about computers, television programs, lighthouses or virtually any other topic.'
might be obsessed with learning.... yeah... I'm autistic!! ^_^ But I will give you this, knocking me off of my schedule is like the worse thing EVER. I HATE IT! But who likes to be knocked off of their time schedule. Not in this paragraph, but touched upon, autistic children don't tend to respond to their parents o.0. OH??? And I thought I was just being rebellious. That brings me back to a remark my Grandma made (God bless her soul), I was always so quiet and HAPPY in my car seat!! Yeah, Grama' cuz I was ignoring YOU!!
SO WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH AUTISM!! Anti-social I DEFINITELY am not though... at least when I want to be.
And then they go on and a show featuring OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). It's basically the same thing. But awesome thing here, A DOCTOR HAS IT!! Not only that, but the FEATURED one, probably the most successful one on that week!! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THAT?!! Better yet, a symptom of OCD is that you THINK you have every illness that crosses your desk. ... Ala this rant here. I'd also think I knew everybody I met, does that count or am I just nuts?? I used to run through the house before leaving to make sure all the lights are off, so?? I thought it was cute ^_^.
Then there's this other occasion my brother, the unlicensed nurse, diagnosed me with ADD. That's a possibility. I could use a little help concentrating.... or is it concentrating on the *RIGHT* thing. I dunno. I don't really care @.@ (concentrating's not my thing).
You ever seen my manic depressive (bi-polar) act?? Yeah, I'm trying to get better at it. I talk to myself occasionally. LITERALLY, I talk to myself occasionally. OH! And did I mention my inCREDIBLE MSG intake???
So basicaly, you name it I got it. I'm a wreck... or rather, a walking side show. With all these symptoms floating around how could you NOT think you have every disease out there??? -

my computer has this problem. The browser seems to shut down randomly and doesn't work until I reset it. Well problem is, 2 days ago I decided to render a few of my clips out so I COULDN'T reset until they were all finished. AND THAT WAS TWO DAYS AGO!! So if anybody was wondering where I been for the last two days. I been sitting in front of my computer waiting for the WORLD'S SLOWEST CLIPPING PROCESS to get done, without internet (it WILL allow me to keep the connections I had started beforehand though... so AIM was my only outlet to let anybody -who cared...- know if I died, took the wrong baggy, walked into the wrong bathroom, or got a bad haircut. None of wich ACTUALLY happened... but just sayin' if it did!). K so anyway... yeah. BORED TO TEARS!
