Now that I can FINALLY get a minute to myself

I couldn't get a minute ALL day yesterday so I skipped, that's what happens when you don't use private transportation. That and I share my computer and my roommate was off yesterday, so, no, I didn't get a minute with 'myself' to write a quick howdiedoo ;p.
Anyway... at one of those times that I was stuck doing anything (or nothing) BUT the computer- that means ANYTHING BUT THE COMPUTER including nothing ^.^ Anyway at times like these a popular choice of mine is to browse on demand so I can see what the dub world is doing. Anyway, the AS (Anime Select, a section of Comcast's On Demand service) at AX (Anime Expo) section interested me mostly cuz I knew that Robotech Shadow Chronicles debuted at AX, I hadn't d/led the trailor and I wanted to get a glympse of it.
And so I did, but my bitch is DAMNIT! If I didn't want to talk to a BUNCH of f#$%!ng mascots!! I mean I can see the draw of cosplaying, and I probley wouldn't mind doing it once or twice late at night, on October 31, in private. But DAMNIT! I used to be open to going to a con... you know if the stars lined up and one fell in my lap, but now... I am SO weirded out. I can take the occasional Star Wars geek in line for the latest SW DVD, but when EVERY SINGLE one is in a stormtrooper outfit or OB1 Robe 'pretending' to be someone they're not, someone that isn't even POSSIBLE (or that defys gravity as is sometimes the case ;p).. sometimes you just have to sigh and move on, but when your SURROUNDED by these freaks that's an AWEFULL lot of sighs! I'd go insane due to lack of oxygen!! WORSE INTERVIEWS EVER... again not just the cosplayers, just, the ratio of cosplayers, well moreso roleplayers, to NORMAL ppl! PLUS the cosplayers in the most ORIGINAL (by original I mean in laymans ie hick terms, meaning the first to do it, nobody else did it CUZ IT'S SOO HIDEOUS!!) These poor geeks got the MOST air time! And could any of them put together a coherant thought? Not likeley. Oh! and before this I caught eps 1-4 of Narutaru so I already knew I liked it but they had a 'preview' and now... I'm not so sure... THAT'S how bad it was, I'm second guessing MYSELF! Howl's Moving Castle?? Meh- looks good, but MY GAWD if Disney didn't drop the bomb in this one! I thought it was awesome how they got some REALLY GOOD VAing talent for Mononoke (pardon me I'm a little behind not seeing Spirited Away or anything yet) but THIS just seems like high school TRYOUTS! Like an old Samurai dub the words didn't even fit the mouth most of the time! It's like they put an add out 'Try your hand at VAing and at the same time DE<ORALIZE anybody looking forward to this masterpeice- 1-800-DISNEP. I'm not even looking forward to my beloved Shadow Chronicles anymore, in one line my anticipation dropped from brimming to unexpectant. I turned it off after 3 segments. -

regarding FoxJones, NostromoVX was talking to me on AIM and since my AIM nick is defferent from my nick here he asked me who I was? I told him either Knowname or Sub0... he was like- out of nowhere he says don't you have an unreleased Skies of Arcadia video?? I had done this video 2 years ago but never released it cuz it wasn't any fun, but... Anyway, HOLY CRAP! PINPOINTED!! <3 Nostromo_vx ;p
I also did this little number for my brothers band, I've been ID'd from that a few times... a little 1.5 minute thing that wreaked!! Lol... well different strokes I guess ;p. Ya know, it's also hard to handle popularity *ego trip*.

I can't help but wonder if it was a mistake to introduce my brother and sister (sister especially) to my livejournal. My sister especially, she's the religious type. I am too, but not NEARLY as much as her, she's the YOUTH minister ;p. Not that bad really, she IS the one to introduce me to Homestarrunner.com before it got famous (I didn't like it... mostly cuz ebaum and it's virus filled flash programs so... no I don't go to ebaum either but my bro did). Anyway I was like WOAH! That's a side of her I hadn't seen since she moved out! So she has a 'lightened up' side, but rareley uses it... Anyway that's kinda' why I moved out of the house, to get away from my parental oppresion... But now I can't put a lj together without haveing to think twice about it! Aah well... maybe I'll live. Maybe.
My mom recently found my roommate (aka my older bro's) poster of a naked lady... she just sighed... MAN! That NEVER woulda happened at home! Coarse the owner was nowhere to be found... but. - In communist Russia noobs eat YOU! 2005-09-03 13:07:31 I await the banner that says this... with Ed or Chrno snarling.
